A shape-changing creature, his name (roughly, &quot;sonic ball&quot;) is fairly descriptive. He is usually depicted as a round, yellow sphere with a face, variably with wings or arms, deep voice, and a loud temperament. Often, when getting emotional, he will transform into an extremely muscular full human body. In spite of being such a bizarre creature, he is for some reason the leader of Shinobu&#039;s ninja clan. Onsokumaru is perverted, lecherous, messy, loud, a cheat, and greedy. He imagines softcore-pornographic fantasies about Shinobu and Kaede, either for his own personal pleasure or to enthrall or persuade the male ninjas into helping him. Conrad is the giant worm like member of the Godhand. His first appearence is in the eclipse along with the rest of the Godhand, and he is seen as having eyes that do not open, a mouth that doesn't close and hands that are stuck together.

Gaston is the coolest non-commanding soldier in the hawks, and Guts's drinking buddy. He is basically Guts's right hand when it came to the strike team which he led.  ~!Out of all the soldiers who died during the Eclipse he managed to survive the longest, meeting his end just after one last farewell to Guts.!~

Son Gokuu is a boy we meet in a forest far from any civilization. He lives in this forest alone as his grandpa passed away, he only has this special orb-like object called a Dragon Ball to remember him by, which he will sometimes talk to as if it is his Grandpa Gohan. As the series continues, Gokuu meets Bulma, a brilliant teenage girl, and they go on a journey to collect these 7 magical dragon balls which actually have wish granting powers once all of them are collected. During this journey they meet and befriend Yamcha, Oolong, and Pu'ar, whose characters mirror those found in Wu Cheng'en's _Journey to the West_. Gokuu also encounters one his closest friends, Kuririn, and others during his time training. Participating in several World Martials Arts Tournaments, ~!Gokuu also battles foes-turned-allies such as Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu, as well as the offspring of Demon King Piccolo named Piccolo Junior.!~

_Dragon Ball Z_ takes place 5 years after the defeat of King Piccolo and Gokuu's last world tournament. We come to find out that Son Gokuu was originally named Kakarot, and is born a member of a race of extraterrestrials called the Saiyans. Shortly following his birth, Gokuu was sent from his home, planet Vegeta, to prepare Earth for sale on the intergalactic market by destroying all its life but due to that injury to his head that caused him severe amnesia, Gokuu forgot his purpose, and instead started focusing on becoming stronger for a little more than the pleasure of it. He now has a son named Son Gohan (named after Grandpa Gohan) who is some what of a cry baby but has hidden potential. Throughout the series, Gokuu faces terribly strong opponents like other powerful Saiyans, Intergalactic Rulers, Androids, and Extraterrestrial Beings that give him fights like no other. Along with new enemies, Gokuu also gains new friends that help him in these situations.  

In  _Dragon Ball GT_, which was not based on Toriyama's manga, Gokuu is turned into a child by a wish on the dragon balls by Pilaf. The series revolves around him traveling around space to find the Black Star Dragon Balls with the help of his granddaughter, Pan, and Trunks. The series ends with Gokuu leaving for good with Shenron and returning one hundred years later to witness the match between Gokuu Jr. and Vegeta Jr.  

In  _Dragon Ball Online_ (which takes place 216 years after Dragon Ball Z, and unlike Dragon Ball GT, Toriyama had a lot of creative control over the story), a new villain by the name of Miira appears with the goal to obtain Gokuu's DNA.  In  _Cross Epoch_, the  _Dragon Ball_ and  _One Piece_ crossover one-shot, Gokuu is seen accompanying Luffy to attend a party hosted by Shenron from whom key characters from both series had received an invitation.!~

North Kaio (北の界王, Kita no Kaiō?) (English dubs: King Kai, North Kai) is the Kaio of the quadrant of the galaxy where the planets Earth and Namek reside. In the English manga, he is also known as Kaiô-sama or Lord of the Worlds. Claiming himself to be very humorous; he will only teach his subordinates if they laugh at his non-comedic jokes (really bad puns in the original Japanese). He can only train those who can reach the end of Snakeway. He trained Goku, who succeeded in doing so and taught him very powerful techniques that have been essential to many of his battles: including the Genki Dama (Spirit Bomb in English dubs) and the Kaio Ken. Nail is a Namekian who looks exactly like Piccolo, apart from the clothes. He is described as the lone &#039;fighter class&#039; Namekian left. He is the personal bodyguard to Guru, and is very strong for a Namekian.     During the Captain Ginyu Saga, Nail has to fight Frieza in order to stop him from killing Guru and getting the Dragon Balls for himself. Even though Frieza was in his lowest power level of 530,000, Nail was no match for the tyrant, and even lost an arm (which he regenerated using Regeneration) during the battle. Before Frieza could finish Nail off, Nail revealed that this fight was to delay Frieza so Dende could get the Namekian Dragon Balls&#039; password to the Earthlings, Gohan and Krillin. Enraged, Frieza immediately departs, leaving Nail to die on the ground.     Shortly afterwards a newly resurrected Piccolo arrives and finds the disabled Namekian. Nail is still able to speak, and asks Piccolo to fuse with him in order to increase his chances against Frieza, and at the same time save his life. Piccolo agrees after some questioning of Nail&#039;s motives, and indeed his power level increases dramatically to the point of being more than a match for Frieza&#039;s second form.

 The "Iron Ox." Tetsugyu is like a younger brother to Taisou and at first he resents Daisaku. He grows very fond of Daisaku and tries to lead by example showing that no amount of personal pain should be a reason to give in. He usually wields a pair of battle axes attached to long chains (of about any length he wishes them to be).

Along with Tetsu, Minoru is a member of Kumiko&#039;s Yakuza group, and is one of her loyal followers. He and Tetsu watch over Kumiko and worry about her. Minoru and Tetsu can occasionally be seen running a takoyaki stand near Kumiko&#039;s school where they can be near her if needed. Sometimes their enthusiasm in serving her almost betrays her secret, but all they want to do is help. The leader of his little gang who claims is not afraid of demons.  Noshiga is loud, rude and pushy to everyone. He boasts a brave front when hearing about the game of O-to-ko-yo, and feels he will be the one to find out who the demon is that's taking the kids.    Noshiga is the third kid to be captured by the demons, he was captured by the Chi-Tori (Blood-Taker) demon after fainting of the sight of Suku in the hands of the Kimo-Tori (Liver-Taker) demon.    The last time he is seen it is at the end of the movie... attached to one of the machines that light the city.    He is noticeable by having a Kanji character painted (tattooed?) on his stomach.

No Respect No. 3. Lone Bone Cold is the most powerful member of No Respect (ノーリスペクト?) and the son of Kinkotsuman. As a child, he ran away from home in order to escape his father's abuse (harsh training in the anime). He becomes a hitman who specializes in Seigi Choujins. He teamed up with Hanzou and Fork the Giant to form No Respect. On Planet Kinniku, he has killed 152 soldiers and while this is considerably lower than Hanzo and Fork's body count, he is still considered the strongest and cruelest of the three, the reason why his was lowest was because he does not kill anyone unless he is paid for it, the 152 he killed were all important officers with bounties on their heads. Mantaro fought him near a vacation resort where Bone Cold captured Minch. After Minch was killed by Bone Cold, Mantaro managed to defeat Bone Cold with Kinkotsuman making ammeds to Bone Cold. Special moves include Shooting Arrow, 3-D Crush and Nasty Gimlet.

Dr. Taylor's colleague and Rex's adoptive father. He discovers Rex as a baby in The American Museum of Natural History and adopts him. He sends Rex to live with the Taylor family to give him a more "normal" family environment, and meanwhile seeks a woman to marry so that he can give his adoptive son a mother. He develops a crush on Ursula. In the second season, he also stays in the present with Reece, Laura, and Rod. Section 2 Division 2 Team 1: The giant from Okinawa. He is soft spoken and kind hearted. He wanted to join his father as a fisherman but easily gets seasick. He later joined the police force and eventually made it over to SV.2. Yamazaki&#039;s too large to fit in a labor&#039;s cockpit, so he is designated as the carrier driver for Unit 1. When not on duty he tends to SV.2&#039;s vegetable garden where his green fingers can be seen. He&#039;s extremely strong, as demonstrated in Movie 1 and 2 where Yamazaki mans the massive anti-labor rifle borrowed from the Narashino Parachute Labor team (apparently an M82 anti-material rifle). Ruler of the Magical Kingdom (one of several kingdoms in the sky). He deliberately falls to the dangerous Underworld in a desperate bid to contact Yumemi and save his people and the heavenly world. He is proud and stubborn to a fault, but also strong and courageous. In the 2nd OAV, like Yumemi who sees his past he sees hers in exchange, though both unwillingly and subconsciously. He grows closer to her in that sense and is even more hesitate to reach out for her help, afraid that if he did she would disappear in an instant, a theory that terrifies him so. Hatchan (はっちゃん, Hacchan, called "Hachi" (ハチ) by most characters) is an octopus fish-man. Hatchan is not very bright but a skilled swordsman, using rokutōryū ("six sword style"). Outside of battle, he is extremely helpful and friendly (though it should be noted that he can be just as cruel to humans as the other crew members are), addressing Zoro politely when they first met, and giving him a ride of a bay on his back. Later in the manga (in a title page arc that was never animated), Hatchan goes on many adventures, meeting a mermaid, that ends with him opening a floating takoyaki restaurant. In Hatchan's Sea-Floor Stroll, it's revealed that Hatchan, along with Chu and Kuroobi, planned to open a takoyaki store when they were younger. 

His nickname Hachi could also mean eight in Japanese, a reference to him being an octopus fish-man. Hatchan's name is quite strange. In the Japanese language, chan is a diminutive suffix, added to the end of someone's name, giving it the meaning of "cute" or "little". However, Hatchan insists that his name is Hatchan and that Hachi is just a nickname. When questioned on this, Oda replied that the chan is the same as the last name of "Chan" common in Chinese, rather than the suffix -chan.

Kuroobi is a ray-type fish-man. Kuroobi is one of the strictest members in his crew and has always been wary of Nami's supposed allegiance to Arlong. Kuroobi practices "Fish-Man Karate" (called "Merman Karate" in the now defunct 4kids dub) to fight his opponents. During the battle with the Straw Hats in the Arlong arc, he fights against Sanji whom he nearly defeats when the cook goes underwater to try and save Luffy. As a Fish-Man, Kuroobi has an advantage underwater. However, Sanji manages to force him up to dry land by breathing the air from his gills, suffocating him, and then promptly beats him into submission with his kicks.

Carne is one of the main cooks from the floating restaurant ship, Baratie, and is good friends with Patty since both applied for restaurant cooks together. He and Patty became very essential in defending the Baratie when Don Krieg attempted to take the restaurant by force.    Like most of the Baratie's cooking staff, Carne prides himself on being a fighting chef; when the restaurant comes under attack by the Krieg armada, he and the other chefs take up arms to defend it. He fights with a large extended knife.    In the 4Kids dub, Carne is given a very heavy Mexican accent not unlike Cheech Marin. The idiot son of Captain Morgan of the Marines. After Luffy defeats his father, he joins the Marines with Coby. Later on, he is seen in along with Coby and is part of Luffy's Grandpa's marine crew and is much stronger from training with Luffy's Grandpa, Vice Admiral Garp.

Chabo is a young boy from Gosa Village.     He wanted to kill Arlong to avenge his father's death; Nami paid him and told him to leave. He later attacked Usopp, thinking that Usopp was a fish-man (due to Usopp's long nose), but Nojiko stopped him. After returning to Nojiko's home, she told him not to throw his life away, she then asks if he has a mother to which he answers &quot;yes&quot;. He was then sent on his way to her because she was most likely worried about him.    Later the surviving Gosa residents called the Marines to help, the Marines arrived and Chabo announced to Nojiko and the Cocoyashi villagers what happened. The Marines fought Arlong, but it is all in vain. After the Fall of Arlong Park, he decides to forget about avenging his father himself and celebrates with the rest of Cocoyashi Village.

Nugire Yainu was the name of the Black Cat crewmember (their shipwright) who was killed three years earlier by Marines. He was hypnotized by Jango to believe he was Captain Kuro, to whom he bore a passing resemblance. His name isn't mentioned in either the anime or manga but was later revealed in the One Piece Blue Data book.

Old Man Swamp (Japanese: ヌマタ老人 Old Numata), also known as Mr. Swampy, is the character of the day in A Mudkip Mission. Old Man Swamp is a man who runs a shelter for Mudkip and resembles the Pokémon he takes care of. He receives Mudkip eggs from the Pokémon League and raises them to be starter Pokémon for beginning trainers of the Hoenn region. When he saw that Ash and company trespassed in his secret shelter grounds, he thought that they were trying to steal the Mudkip. Soon everything was straightened out when Ash explained how Brock saved a baby Mudkip. But Brock explained to him later that another, older, Mudkip helped rescue the baby Mudkip. Old Man Swamp has a tendency of giving out too much information. One instance was him telling Team Rocket not to break the dam because it would flood the area and the Mudkip would have nowhere to live. When Old Man Swamp saw how Brock and Mudkip worked together to save the baby Mudkip and stop Team Rocket, he eventually asked him to take Mudkip with him as it was getting too old to give to a beginning trainer. Both Brock and Mudkip happily agreed.

Juan is the Gym Leader of Sootopolis City's Gym. He left his Gym in the care of his former student, Wallace, but returned after Wallace replaced Steven and moved up to the position of Pokémon Champion. He gives the Rain Badge to Trainers who defeat him. He specializes in Water-type Pokémon.

Anime: Archie appeared in Gaining Groudon and The Scuffle of Legends. During the events, he becomes possessed by the power of the Red Orb, much like Pikachu and the Blue Orb. His only concern from that point is to raise the sea, even if it meant drowning all of his Team Aqua members.    Manga: Archie is one of the devious villains of Hoenn. His identity is a secret, and he works as the head of Hoenn TV, which made him the boss of Gabby &amp; Ty. Using his position as the master of the region&#039;s media, Archie was able to cover up Team Aqua&#039;s actions and air anti-Team Magma propaganda.    He ensures that Team Aqua&#039;s missions are carried out in top secret, and eliminates any evidence of their attacks.  ~!The only major feat they have accomplished is stealing the prototype engine for the Submarine Explorer 1; however, this was the only thing really essential to their plans. When Maxie obtained the Blue Orb, Amber&#039;s Volbeat stole it from them and gave it to him.    After Rayquaza interrupted the battle between Groudon and Kyogre, Archie and Maxie went insane and attempted to destroy those who interfered with their plans. Archie used his Tentacruel to pull Courtney into the Cave Of Origin, suffocate Ruby and hold Winona hostage when Wallace tried to save Ruby. Archie stomped on Ruby&#039;s Feebas, Mimi, and mocked it for being weak and ugly. However, Ruby then shows he had a change of heart from when he thought the same about his Feebas&#039; looks, but then realizes that it possesses inner beauty, and that will remain so regardless of whether its body withers away or not. Then, he pridefully attaches the Hyper Rank Beauty Contest Ribbon that Wallace kept for him since he drove Mimi away, and it then evolves into Milotic, the Pok&eacute;mon he sought after. His new Milotic is then able to team up with the rest of Ruby and Sapphire&#039;s Pok&eacute;mon to defeat the two evil leader&#039;s Pokemon, forcing them to escape on Wallace&#039;s air car, but they are thwarted by Ruby&#039;s Plusle and Sapphire&#039;s Minun.!~    [credit to bulbapedia]
