Kubota is an army Intelligence Officer and former colleague of Aramaki. He often provides Aramaki with inside information. He appears to be of the same JGSDF Academy Class as Chief Aramaki, and appears to have equivalent rank (Colonel), though he is also interested in advancing his career politically, often handing unpleasant tasks over to Section 9 in order to prevent blame for &#039;dirty business&#039; being officially attached to his record of conduct.

A member of the eldora five, Jose appears to be the second -in-command of the group. He&#039;s often arguing with Nero over their glory day stories, saying how often he had to bail out his leader in various situations, which Nero quickly denies.    Even after Jose and the rest of the eldora five join Van and Co. in their assault on The Claw&#039;s island, he still argues with Nero often over the repairs of their armor, claiming that they should have brought Bucchi along.

One of the characters for hire in Samurai Champloo, he seems to be an old man scared of a dog, but names himself a samurai. In the second anime chapter of Samurai Champloo he skirmishes with Jin but since Ryūjirō Sasaki had died due to Oniwakamaru strangling him to death he was forced into retreat since no one was going to pay him.

Arawaka is a butler in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Not much is known about him, but it is revealed that he is a member of the Agency and one of Koizumi&#039;s contacts. He is usually seen with Mori, another Agency member who takes on the appearance of a maid.    Arawaka is introduced as the butler of a mansion during the Lone Island Syndrome arc, but appears later on during the Lone Mountain Syndrome arc. He also helps in retrieving Mikuru from the other Agency.
