A mysterious woman who will join Wataru in his journey, a woman who seems to know quite a lot about the fate that has befallen human civilization. 

As an ESWAT member, Deunan is a specialist in weapons handling, explosive devices manipulations, hand-to-hand combat, and an excellent Landmate pilot. According the Appleseed Databook, she is trained to be ambidextrous. In the original manga, Briareos was a cyborg before Deunan arrived at Olympus, and she managed to lose an eye in Volume 4, due to a training accident.  The following data is from the 2004 Movie adaptation.  The daughter of Carl and Dr. Gilliam Knute, Deunan, who is considered as a highly skilled warrior, has spent almost her entire life fighting in a war that was, for the most part, over. It wasn't until she was captured by an ES.W.A.T. (Especial Weapons And Tactics) team in the middle of a ruined city, led by Hitomi and her former lover Briareos, that she was finally evacuated from the Badlands. When she arrived in Olympus, the change of environment was severe, but it was a greater shock to her when she found that Briareos had lost over 75% of his original body during the last Global War and was now a cyborg.  The day after she was brought to the city of Olympus, Deunan learned that over half of the population of the city was composed of artificial humans called Bioroids. She also found out that her new friend, Hitomi, was one herself. Deunan also discovers that other people are looking for her, mostly because she possesses, without knowing it, the secret of "Appleseed". That interest will become important when Hitomi's life will be at risk and that the "Appleseed Data" will be needed to save her. But that would mean defying the powerful Olympus Regular Army (ORA), composed at 100% of humans and under the command of General Uranus and Colonel Hades.

Belldandy is unflinchingly kind, patient, and warm, not only to Keiichi but to everyone, without exception. However, this does not mean that she is to be taken lightly; Belldandy is licensed as a goddess first-class, unlimited, and as such is highly skilled. Her power is so great, in fact, that she is required to wear a special earring on her left ear which constantly seals the full brunt of her magical strength. The only time at which she has ever revealed her true strength is during the Lord of Terror arc. At the end of this arc, Belldandy completely reconstructed their home from rubble, mentioning that doing so only took one ten-millionth of her power.

Belldandy's capacities and talents are diverse, whether magical or worldly. Not only can she change the appearance of her clothing and levitate (and, by extension, fly) as all full-fledged goddesses are expected to, but she can also teleport through mirrors, speak to and understand animals, "see" people's emotions as auras, heal minor wounds by speeding metabolism, and "speak" to machines. Furthermore, she is a superb cook, and her singing skills are held to be the best in the heavens. She is also incapable of getting drunk on alcoholic drinks, but instead gets drunk with soda (it has to be noted, however, that she's a complete lightweight in this regard. One sip is enough to send her in a drunken rampage—although given her personality, "rampage" takes an entirely different, but no less destructive, meaning). In addition, she is also the top broom racer in heaven, the only one that could rival her is Welsper from hell or Hild the Daimakaichou herself.

Belldandy's angel is Holy Bell (Bless餠Bell in some versions of the English manga); her elemental attribute is wind. Like all angels, Holy Bell augments Belldandy's magical powers when called upon, and like all angels, she also reflects her master's current state. For example, when Belldandy falls unconscious after being infected with a virus (in the movie), Holy Bell emerges comatose and covered with crystals that represent the virus.

Belldandy does not appear to play a significant role in maintaining Yggdrasil. Rather, she works at the Goddess Relief Agency which deals with granting wishes (forming contracts) with humans, similar to Peorth's work at the Earth Assistance Agency.

Mihoshi Kuramitsu is a Galaxy Police detective in the fictional Tenchi Muyo! anime and manga series. Her given name &quot;Mihoshi&quot;, literally means &quot;Beautiful Star&quot;, and is derived from a town in the Okayama Prefecture formerly known as Bisei.    In the OVA, Mihoshi is a Seniwan and a member of the Kuramitsu family, whose power is second only to the Jurai Royal Family.    Mihoshi is known as one of the finest officers in the Galaxy Police, but her career soon hit a major roadblock after an incident hinted at in the 4th episode of the 1st OVA, and the 4th episode of the 3rd one (it has been alluded that the incident involved an arranged marriage, which would factor in Misao&#039;s attack later in the series). It&#039;s revealed in the True Tenchi novels, that Mihoshi fell in love with the man she was supposed to marry and he left and broke her heart and she proceeded in commiting suicide and then was revived by the Kuramitsu family, the consequences being her incompetence and her near invulnerability.    Mihoshi is actually the great-great-granddaughter of Washu, through her son Mikumo, although this is only stated outside the series itself, and her grandfather Minami Kuramitsu is the Grand Marshall of the Galaxy Police. Mihoshi&#039;s mother Mitoto also works for the Galaxy Police, as a cleaning lady. She also has a younger brother, Misao, who had married Mashisu Makibi. Whether her kinship with and ability to constantly circumvent one of the 11-dimensional Chousin goddesses is a sign that she&#039;s yet another of the series&#039; transcendental anomalies is unconfirmed at this point. However, it is noteworthy that her mother Mitoto has a reminiscent ability to subconsciously travel vast interstellar distances. Whether she shares her daughter&#039;s causuality-bending talent is unknown at this point, but Minami, Mikami and Misao apparently don&#039;t.    Although she tends to eat and sleep a lot, Mihoshi is very serious about her job in the G.P, doesn&#039;t mind helping out with regular household work, and seems better at it than Ryoko or Ayeka. She has been known to write very extensive and unstructured reports... cluttered with details, so it can sometimes take her superiors a while to figure them out. In fact, because her report on the Kagato incident included detailed information on the Jurai royal trees, her report is now TOP SECRET with Jurai Intelligence (Funaho Jurai once confessed to Washu that it took Jurai Intelligence four days to summarize the report). A duplicate report, omitting the sensitive information, was submitted in its place.

The Queen of the Kendappa clan, she is also Taishakuten&#039;s musician. She always carries her harp with her, and plays beautiful music with it. Her mother was the previous Kendappa-ou, who was so in love with Yasha-ou, and her father was the Eastern General and was killed by Taishakuten in the Holy War. But even so, Kendappa-ou is still extremely loyal to Taishakuten.  Kendappa-ou is in love with Souma, and they&#039;ve been together ever since she found Souma wandering around in a forest. Kendappa-ou took her to her palace, the Gandaraja, and took care of her.

In Tsubasa Chronicle

Amaterasu is the Shinto sun goddess and the mythical ancestress of the royal family of Japan. In Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle though, she is the Empress of Nihon and is Tomoyo's older sister as well. 

~!Amaterasu arrives to Suwa to find Kurogane shaken up over of his mother and father's death, after her sister foresaw this event in dreams. She went to Suwa to put an end to the demons' attack, and tries to stop the young prince of Suwa, but it's her sister who brings him back to his senses.
In the Nihon Arc she welcomes the travelers, offering to make a welcome ceremony for them and offering them to stay in the Shirasaki Castle as long as they like. When Seishirou comes she tells them (Syaoran and him) not to fight inside the Castle, then Tomoyo casts a barrier for them to fight inside like the ones from X. After the fight between "Syaoran" and Syaoran Li, she and her sister say goodbye to Kurogane, Fai, and "Syaoran", as they go search for Sakura in Clow.!~

~!She loves strong people, that is why she is loyal to Taishakuten despite him being the one to kill her father. She is actually one of the Six Stars but chose to be on Taishakuten’s side because of her belief that he is the strongest person in Tenkai.!~

~!She believed that Ashura and the others could not defeat Taishakuten so she rather kill Souma instead than have her die because of Souma trying to avenge her clan. However, Kendappa-ou committed suicide after because she didn’t want to live in a world without Souma. Souma tried to give Kendappa-ou her own blood to grant her immortality but was stopped by Taishakuten. The two’s bodies was laid next to each other.!~
