Hagita is a regular student in Nagano who becomes very good friends with Kakeru. While he is not outgoing or charismatic, Hagita has a profound determination and intelligence. Hagita is a very big fan of reading manga and watching the television show 'Yuugata Get'. Later in the story, Hagita even goes as far as to buy Kakeru manga for his birthday. Throughout the story, subtle comments and interactions hint at an affection Hagita holds for Murasaka and in the future time line Hagita is married to Murasaka.

Takao is a strong-willed teenager who is not afraid to speak his mind and in so doing, he seems to get into more trouble than most kids his age. He seems to be a very emotional person, and quite often worries about his friends, causing him to become angry. Takao isn&#039;t a born leader, yet because of his magnetic personality and self-confidence, people seem to gravitate toward him. No situation is too risky for Takao, and he often relies on nothing more than luck. His style of playing is aggressive and all in, Takao is one fierce competitor.    While he is determined and strong of spirit in battle, Takao can be rash and take too many risks. Takao isn&#039;t very good at beyblade customization and lacks common sense sometimes, which would make people think he is a jock of sorts. Takao&#039;s beyblades uses special attacks that take on the form of a Dragon, and they are generally one of the fiercest, more powerful beyblades around. They use the wind element. Dragoons are known to get better with each model possibly describing how Takao develops as he grows up and learns from his mistakes. Takao&#039;s bit-beast is Dragoon. Beans (Maamen in the Nippon Animation adaptation) is Netero's personal secretary and helps to organize a lot of things during Hunter Exam.
