Nyarth is a member of Rocket-dan (Team Rocket), more specifically part of a trio with Musashi and Kojirou, that follows Satoshi and his friends around in the Pokémon anime, usually trying to steal Satoshi's Pikachu. His major difference from other Nyarth, and nearly all other Pokémon, is that he can talk and walk on two legs like a human.

As a member of the Alpha Gang, Ed works with Ursula and Zander to obtain dinosaur cards for Dr. Z. Despite his cowardly behavior, he follows the other two anywhere, even if they end up in a dangerous predicament. Ed likes cute girls and enjoys eating bananas, though he is something of a glutton and is very fond of eating in general. He is the funny one on the team and is rather stupid. His only sign of intelligence is in &#039;The Forest Fire effect&#039; when he shows them what kind of damage would be done by the fire they caused in the Jurassic Period. Ed also had a running gag in the first series on jinxing his team during missions.

Fleur-de-lis is the boss of Team Flare and the primary antagonist of Pokémon X and Y, who seeks to create a beautiful world. He is also the owner of Fleur-de-lis Labs, the company that created the Holo Caster.

Dende is a Namekian who takes the role of the Earth's god after Kami fuses with Piccolo. He is first introduced in the Namek Saga when Son Gohan and Kuririn save him from Dodoria. He gets his power unlocked by their elder, giving him the power to heal. He aids the warriors during the fight with Freeza until he is killed by the tyrant. After being revived by Shenlong, he lives on New Namek until Son Goku can teleport there during the Cell Saga to ask a Namekian to become the new God of Earth and revive the Dragon Balls. Steven was once a football star but was kicked off of his team for unsportsmanlike conduct. He has a real short temper and loses to Tyson because his heart rate went sky rocketting. He was also blinded by anger.    Steven&#039;s natural muscular body makes him an exellent beyblader.

Hatchan (はっちゃん, Hacchan, called "Hachi" (ハチ) by most characters) is an octopus fish-man. Hatchan is not very bright but a skilled swordsman, using rokutōryū ("six sword style"). Outside of battle, he is extremely helpful and friendly (though it should be noted that he can be just as cruel to humans as the other crew members are), addressing Zoro politely when they first met, and giving him a ride of a bay on his back. Later in the manga (in a title page arc that was never animated), Hatchan goes on many adventures, meeting a mermaid, that ends with him opening a floating takoyaki restaurant. In Hatchan's Sea-Floor Stroll, it's revealed that Hatchan, along with Chu and Kuroobi, planned to open a takoyaki store when they were younger. 

His nickname Hachi could also mean eight in Japanese, a reference to him being an octopus fish-man. Hatchan's name is quite strange. In the Japanese language, chan is a diminutive suffix, added to the end of someone's name, giving it the meaning of "cute" or "little". However, Hatchan insists that his name is Hatchan and that Hachi is just a nickname. When questioned on this, Oda replied that the chan is the same as the last name of "Chan" common in Chinese, rather than the suffix -chan.   

Blue Gilly is a martial artist from the Longleg Tribe. He joined as a gladiator at the Corrida Colosseum to compete for the Mera Mera no Mi.
