East Kaioushin is the supreme ruler of the Eastern Quadrant of the Universe along with his best friends, and under his superior, Dai Kaioshin (Grand Supreme Kai). He is short, purple skinned with white hair, dressed in a posh Kaio outfit and always accompanied by his ever-loyal bodyguard and friend, Kibito. East Kaioshin survived Majin Buu&#039;s assault on the Kaioshin Kai to become the only surviving Kaioshin, when rescued by his bodyguard. The other member of the Onibaku duo, Ryuuji is taller and maybe slightly more restrained than his partner, although get in his bad books and you're in for big trouble. He has more luck with women, having had a relationship with his teacher Ayumi, and later Nagisa (seen in GTO). Ryuuji's family are nice, normal people, who appear quite wealthy, who totally disapprove of his 'bad behavior', however his elder sister Yoko allows him to stay at her home when he needs to. His younger brother is called Yoshitaka. Ryuuji rides a Honda CBX-400F, as seen in Bad Company.

Gren was once a soldier for the war on Titan, and appears in the two-part episodes of &#039;Jupiter Jazz&#039;. On Titan he fought beside Vicious, who he admired and found encouragement in, during the war. After the war, Gren came back hoping to be a jazz musician, but that plan was cut short when he was arrested on the pretense of being a spy. In prison, Gren heard that Vicious testified against him; this and the isolation drove him mad. The prison used prisoners for drug experiments, and he was forced to become a test subject. Kaby Melon is the son of Zekua Melon. He hired Natsu, Happy, and Lucy to destroy the Daybreak book. However, they only recovered the book, which held a coded letter from Zekua, instead of destroying it, so they did not claim the reward. 

An analogue to Hayato Jin of Getter Robo, and all the other &quot;rival/loner&quot; characters of Super Robot team anime. He pilots the Gekiga Marine machine, and controls the Umiganger form of Gekiganger 3.

Legato was recruited by Knives after the July incident to make Vash's life a living hell, though the nightmare doesn't really begin until about midway through the series. From that point on, this man continues to weave a living nightmare for Vash, not only on his own but also through the gang of eleven superpowered killers who are under his command: the Gung-Ho Guns.

Legato himself possesses a dark power: the ability to control people's bodies against their will. 
~!His favorite bit of poetic justice is to make gangs of people who oppose him shoot each other, and this special power is what finally forces Vash to cross the line he promised himself he'd never cross. By controlling some villagers and pointing their guns at Meryl and Milly, he forced Vash into a choice between two unacceptable options: either allow the girls to die, or take the only possible action to save them...and kill him.    

Legato's telekinetic powers come from the fact that he has Vash's left arm. When Knives shot it off, it was attached to Legato. This is why Legato can control other people's bodies (originally one of Vash's and Knives' powers) and can activate Vash's angel arm the same way Knives did in July.    

It is unclear how Vash's arm was transplanted to Legato, since Vash is a humanoid plant and Legato is human. One might think that perhaps Legato is also a humanoid plant, but it is made clear in the series that Legato is human and hates himself because of it. Thus we can only assume that Knives somehow "reconstructed" and modified Legato in some way.!~
