In the Manga    The leader of the Chronos Numbers elite assassination squad Cerberus, in charge of the close-range attacks, Nizer wields a pair of tonfas named &quot;Dioskuroi&quot; which he wields with incredible skill, as he shows when he has to destroy a human turned into a werewolf through the Lucifer nanomachines, that can regenerate any part of its body as long as a single piece of it remains - He can even regenerate his head, causing Nizer to need to completely pulverize it. He holds a personal vendetta against Creed Diskenth for the death of Number X, his old partner Ash. He is unable to participate in the attack at Clarken Island due to grave injuries caused by Creed's Imagine Blade and a gunshot from Echidna.    In the Anime    In the attacks in the manga, Nizer suffers grave injuries and is unable to participate in the attack at Clarken Island. However, in the Anime the scene where Jenos reports the Kerberos mission results to Belze does not take place, therefore we might just speculate Nizer is in the same condition as in the manga. Kanda Yuu is a main protagonist character and member of the fictional religious organization known as the Black Order, in the anime and manga series D.Gray-man, by Katsura Hoshino.  Kanda is a young and handsome Japanese man usually found in any mood that isn't positive.

Kanda comes across as cold, stoic, and arrogant, even to his fellow exorcists. In battle, he will do anything to win, sometimes at the risk of his teammates. He once made a sarcastic joke about leaving them to die. It is his opinion that exorcists are not saviors.  Yu, or Yuu, is Kanda's given name, though he dislikes being called by it or even introducing himself as such. He calls Allen "bean sprout" (モヤシ, moyashi, English Dub: "Short Stack"). Kanda seems to know Lavi, though he doesn't hesitate with his usual threats if Lavi calls Kanda by his given name. However, it is clear that Kanda does care for his fellow Exorcists and the Finders (whom he claims not to care about).  He tends to mask his emotions and often claims, "It's none of my business." In spite of his intentions, he and Allen are often at each other's throats and rarely see eye-to-eye on anything.   

Kanda's favorite foods are soba noodles and tempura (especially pumpkin, shishitou [a small, sweet green pepper], and lotus root). Kanda dislikes many things, to the point that "there are too many to write down". However, Kanda himself points out that he hates people with naive personalities, people who don't keep their promises, cursed people, people who can't keep their mouths shut, people who call him by his given name, and "sweet things".

Moondoggie is the second-newest member of the Gekkostate (the newest being Renton). In the beginning, he was in charge of the LFO catapult systems and launch pads on board the Gekko, but later he becomes the head pilot, replacing Talho when she has to leave the post, as he is the group's only other licensed pilot. His pilot's license, seen in episode 34, lists his name as James Darren Emerson. His nickname is frequently shortened to "Doggie" by other members of Gekkostate, and Renton sometimes calls him "Doggie-niisan" ("Brother Doggie" in the English dub), referring to Moondoggie as his older brother. In the Japanese version, Moondoggie speaks in a strong Kumamoto accent whenever he gets overly emotional. In the English version, he occasionally talks in surfer speak. Although Takeshi is a skilled pilot, he has an emotional breakdown from a blow to his ego. He, unlike his teammates, seems to have a normal family life, along with a younger sister named Yuri, who loves teasing her brother, and barging in on him without asking, though it is obvious that she loves her big brother dearly and she claims to be his biggest fan and supporter. Takeshi also looks to his idol, a famous IGPX pilot known as Rocket G, or simply "The Rocket", as a source of inspiration. The Rocket is later revealed to be Team Satomi's coach Andrei Rublev. Takeshi was a couple with Fantine Valjean and met with her at times when playing Watch World, however, in season 2, they broke up. Hiroki Fujisawa is the main character of the movie "The Place Promised in Our Early Days", by Makoto Shinkai (2004). When he was a kid, Hiroki and his best friend Takuya begun the construction of a plane to go to Hokkaido Island and see the tower which is there.  

He is in love with Sayuri, a classmate who plays the violin. With her and Takuya, Hiroki promised to go to the tower together. But because of Sayuri's sudden disappearance, the promise will not be kept. After middle school and high school, Hiroki moved to Tokyo for studies, but he can't stop thinking about Sayuri and the promise he made a few years before.

Iruka Umino is an instructor at the Ninja Academy, characterized by the distinctive scar across his face that he has had since childhood. The name "Umino Iruka" can be taken as "umi no iruka" ("sea dolphin").   Twelve to thirteen years ago, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox attacked Konoha, killing many people. Iruka's parents were still out fighting the Fox and were killed. Iruka was dragged back for protection by an unknown ninja but wanted to stay where he was. After it was over, everyone in the Ninja Academy made fun of him and made him feel just like Naruto Uzumaki.

Shino Aburame is character who has a fascination with bugs; most of his spare time is spent watching bugs, he often makes analogies to bugs when talking. In addition to liking bugs, Shino is characterized by his emotionless, solitary, and collected way of doing things. He speaks very bluntly and never allows emotion to interfere with his judgment, sometimes offending people in doing so. Despite his odd personality and occasionally arguing with Kiba, Shino has a very strong sense of connection with his teammates and allies.  Shino alongside Hinata Hyuga and Kiba Inuzuka is in team 8 which is led by Kurenai Yuhi.  In battle, Shino is able to take great use of his intelligence, being able to use his analytical and observational skills to make shrewd judgments with pinpoint reasoning. As a member of the Aburame clan, Shino was infused at birth with a special breed of insects that feed on chakra. In return for becoming a living hive, the insects attack opponents, usually while he distracts them, and carry out other tasks as he commands. Shino has found a number of uses for these bugs, and as such has devised a number of jutsu that utilize them for varying purposes, such as creating copies of himself or using bugs for defensive purposes.

Izumo is a chuunin of the Village Hidden in the Leaves, partnered with his friend  Kotetsu Hagane, they make their first appearance trying to discourage the genins from the chuunin exams. It is later discovered that they are both proctors in the exams. After the chuunin exams, the fifth hokage takes them both as assistants, doubling them as guards to the main gate of the village.  He is hardly ever seen without Kotetsu and they also appear in Shippuden.


A missing-nin from Takigakure and Hidan's partner. Kakuzu is a greedy individual, prioritizing things in terms of how much they are worth and finding money to be the only thing that he can depend on. Kakuzu's favorite source of income is collecting bounties while carrying out other missions, even putting up with Hidan's religion since it allows him to collect bounties faster. His history as a bounty hunter seems to be extensive, as he is on friendly terms with a bounty collector and even seems to have memorized the information and worth of some of the more dangerous bounties. This view of money has caused Kakuzu to refer to himself as the "Treasurer of Akatsuki", though it is unknown if this is an actual position. Kakuzu also has his own personal banker and accountant. Despite his attachment to money, he places the orders of the Akatsuki leader before any opportunity to make a profit. Kakuzu greatly dislikes the fact that he needs a teammate as a member of Akatsuki, due in part to his habit of killing anyone near him (partners included) when enraged. Having killed all of his previous partners as a result of this, Kakuzu was partnered with Hidan. Neither Kakuzu nor Hidan are fond of their partnership, Kakuzu having little patience for Hidan's time-consuming battle style and rituals and Hidan, in turn, detesting how Kakuzu fights solely for money. Still, because Hidan is immortal, Kakuzu can attack him without worrying about finding a new partner.

Gin is fiercely loyal to Don Krieg, carrying out whatever orders he may be given from him no matter how inhumanly brutal or ruthless without protest or hesitation, thus earning himself the alias of &quot;Gin the Demon Man.&quot;    This is partly due to a great fear of Krieg, which is evidenced when he obeys his orders to throw away his gas mask and breathe the deadly MH5 poison gas because he fears Krieg&#039;s wrath for disobeying more than death itself. The boy serving as the new J-Chair. He is tall, but actually he is two years junior to Amu. He prepares for Guardian's activities. Though the youngest, he is so capable Amu and Yaya call him "class president". He wears spectacles.  

When Kairi character changes with Musashi, his hairstyle changes to match his Guardian Character. He wields a bokuto for attacking or to defend with a green shield.   

~! He is actually Yukari Sanjo's younger brother sent to spy on the Guardians. He chose to switch sides, after Amu convinced him he is a good person, to fight and purify the X eggs. He seems to have a slight crush on Amu. At the end of chapter 26 he leaves saying that his job at their school is done, but not before declaring his love for Amu saying that he shall return for her when he has become a man. He also declared a rivalry toward Tadase. !~

Yusei is a new and main character in this series. He is considered a rare duelist riding [Red D-Wheel]. Yusei is familiar with machine and computer, so he assembles D-Wheel by himself. His personality is very different from Judai in GX series but similar to Mutou Yugi. He looks cool and smart with hot heart especially in a duel and always thinks about his friends. After fighting Jack Atlas, [Dragon&#039;s Birthmark] appears on his arm and makes him become a Signer. The story mainly focuses on Yusei. As people live in gorgeous Neo Domino City, he lives with his scums in the old Satellite plant. Yusei assembles his D-Wheel from any material he can get from this junk place. This is the source of his deck&#039;s concept of Junk (ie. Junk Warrior). Yusei plans to have a decisive battle with Jack because Jack stole his D-Wheel and ace card. 

Varon is one of Dartz's three musketeers. He does not seem to get along with Amelda, as evidenced by the one scene where they actually converse, and end up arguing. He and Rafael seem to get along fine, however. He is responsible for leading Mai Kujaku to Dartz.  Varon has saved Mai multiple times in the anime and hinted to her that he has feelings for her.  In the English dub, Varon has a cockney accent. 

Yuma Tsukumo is the main character of Zexal. Yuma lives with his older sister and grandmother, because he lost his parents, who were archaeologists. A necklace that his parents gave him seems to hold many secrets. His dad also left him with his deck. Despite the lack of parents, Yuma is usually a happy and energetic child, who hates unfairness and cares about his friends. He never gives up and always shoots for the top. Unfortunately, he doesn't always make it. His goal is to become the world champion of dueling and has some of the cards he needs to do so, but, unfortunately, he is not a very good card player. Because of this drawback, he will often put himself in a tough position, such as facing against his tough future rival, Shark Ryouga. Yuma teams up with the mysterious Astral, who is conveniently a dueling genius. Even though Astral tries to help Yuma, he often does not listen because of his extreme stubbornness and wrongful pride. Although they have conflicting personalities, Yuma needs to learn to work with Astral, and put aside his pride or he will never be  a dueling champion.  

Green has a serious, calm, and focused personality in everything he does. Although Red and Green were once bothered by each other because their personalities are so opposite, they ended up resolving their differences.

Green and his Strike were trained by Shijima of Tanba City when he was a child. Thus, Green has some cursory knowledge of martial arts, and his Strike knew Generation II techniques.

A high-ranking officer in the Empire's Military Command, belonging to Strategic Headquarter. He is part of the General Staff's strategic advisory member that deals with the Empire's war tactics. A thoughtful and keen man, he quickly deduces the true nature of Tanya Degurechaff, calling her a demon. Even so, he trusts her ruthless efficiency to carry out tasks perfectly.

Ruijerd Superdia is the former leader of the Superd's Warrior group whom once served under Laplace with unwavering loyalty. He was accompanying [Rudeus](https://anilist.co/character/88348/Rudeus-Greyrat) and [Eris](https://anilist.co/character/88349/Eris-Boreas-Greyrat).

~!Laplace betrayed his group by giving them each a devil spear which made them ecstatic from killing, even their own family. After giving his son a fatal wound, his son managed to destroy the devil spear and Ruijerd finally wakes up from the brainwash. He considered committing suicide but decided not to and everyone of that warrior group swore revenged on Laplace.

He finally got his revenge after several years of hiding. He interfered in the battle between Laplace and the three heroes. But even if Laplace was defeated, there was no way to change the things that had already transpired.

After exacting his revenge, he now has a goal of removing the infamy the Superd race has.!~


Chakuro is a passionate and curious thinker who seems to always ask questions about the world around him. Some of the most occurring questions he asks are 'how do mud whales float?' and 'why are feelings important?' His obsession with writing is seen as an illness by his grandfather and himself. As an archivist, Chakuro writes objectively which is a contradiction to his expressive behavior. His writings are relied on by the council members.

Chakuro is very expressively emotional. It is pointed out that he often cries in funerals when they are not supposed to.
