Takeshi appeared primarily as an opponent to Satoshi in his debut episode; unlike later Gym Leaders, he requested to join Satoshi on his journey, aiming to be the world's greatest Pokémon Breeder.

Takeshi mainly provides an advisory role to the other main characters of the anime, being several years older than the rest of them. His knowledge of Pokémon battles is great, causing him to often referee matches between Satoshi and others. Takeshi also fancies himself as something of a ladies' man, though each time he hits on someone he is either rejected outright; pulled away by Kasumi or Masato; or, more recently, Poison Jabbed by his Gureggru.

Scorpio is a Celestial Spirit that is one of the 12 Golden Zodiac Keys. His key is currently owned by Lucy. He is also Aquarius&#039;s boyfriend with which he has a happy relationship. His weapon appears to be a large, strange gun shaped like a scorpion&#039;s tail.     Scorpio has a strange manner of speaking which is similar to the third person where as he says &quot;We are&quot; in the beginning of each sentence. Scorpio has also a habit of folding his middle and ring fingers back while keeping his index and little fingers extended, mimicking the pincer claws of a scorpion.     Unlike Aquarius, Scorpio hasn&#039;t shown any hostility or dislike towards Lucy. In fact he seems to genuinely respect and care for Lucy. 

Saitou Hajime is one of the best swordsmen in the Shinsengumi, and the Leader of the Third Unit. He has the uncanny ability to feel the thoughts of the dead, and even communicate with them. 

Mitsuomi is a highly skilled and dedicated martial artist. He uses his position and power to suppress other power users in the school. He is feared and viewed as a tyrant by some as a result. He will do whatever is necessary to that end, he frequently fights and kills bulls in his training so his technique will not weaken when the time comes to kill. He also annihilates any group that threatens his control or the order of the school and frequently using dirty tactics to do so. He also seems to still be in love with Maya Natsume, despite their current disagreements.  Mitsuomi can only fight for three minutes due to a condition with his heart , yet very few can actually last for three minutes against him. Mitsuomi is the strongest character in the series.

Fujitaka Kinomoto is a professor of archaeology at Towa University and the father of Sakura Kinomoto.

Fujitaka met his late wife Nadeshiko while doing his first year as a teacher at her high school. Nadeshiko had climbed a tree to return a baby bird to its nest, but fell out of the tree, landing on Fujitaka. Upon seeing her, he stated that "an angel has fallen from the sky." They fell in love and married when she was sixteen. Though Nadeshiko died seven years before the start of the series, Fujitaka is shown to still be very much in love with her and devoted to her memory. He keeps a picture of her in the dining room, changing it each morning. Little is initially said about Fujitaka's family or past.

~!During the second half of the series, it is revealed that when Clow Reed divided his soul, seeking to no longer be the most powerful magician in the world, he split it into two halves, one which became Eriol Hiiragizawa holding all of the magic and memories, and the other being Fujitaka, who has no magic of his own but fathered the one who would inherit the cards. It is stated that Fujitaka has no magical powers of his own, but he is also unaffected by other people's magic, such as the Eriol's sleep spell. At the end of the series, Eriol gives half of his magic to Fujitaka. This enables Fujitaka to finally see the spirit of Nadeshiko, who has been watching over her family since her death.  In the anime adaptation, Fujitaka's role as the other half of Clow Reed's reincarnation is completely removed as is his immunity to Eriol's magic and he is never able to see Nadeshiko's spirit.!~

The most charismatic and prominent member of Gilgamesh, Novem (Nine) is the seductive blond who eventually captures Kiyoko's heart. He has blue eyes and short hair with a fringe usually covering his left eye. He remains calm at all times, and generally takes a position equivalent to leader, giving the orders to his team members. Jet was originally 001, but was replaced by Ivan. Jet comes from New York City in the United States and was the leader of the Jets gang in New York's West Side. (In the manga, his character is introduced in a scene that parodies the opening scenes of the movie West Side Story). During a fight with the Puerto Rican Sharks gang, Jet stabs one of the rival gang members to death, causing the others to run away in order to escape the police. Jet, however, was intercepted by Black Ghost members, who took him away from the scene to be made into a cyborg later. Jet, true to his name, has boosters built into his feet, allowing him to fly at speeds of up to Mach 5. 002 is also equipped with an early form of acceleration module, later refined in 009. He has a brash personality that often conflicts with his peers (in the 2001 series he's even hostile towards them at some points), but is nonetheless a loyal and good-hearted member of the team. He was one of the 00 Cyborgs who were frozen until more advanced technology and procedures were developed. Chronologically, he is in his 40/50s, since he was 18 years old when captured. Jet has a huge nose.

He's also proficient in using illusions and hallucinogenic drugs (which, as Ray remarks, make him give off a strange, sweet scent) in order to lead his subjects into a state of mania and expose their true selves.

While not much is known about his past, he had apparently always shown a keen interest in studying what makes people believe in God and follow a religion. At some point he had become a reverend in a small town's church, gaining many followers thanks to his mesmerizing speeches and strange ability to learn their true nature (secretly derived from his proficiency with hallucinogenic drugs). After his curiosity reached its peak, he would come up with the idea of an experiment in which he'd use a group of ruthless, self-righteous serial killers - which he'd call his "Angels" - in order to determine what is it that makes people - whom he'd call his "Sacrifices" - religious.

Shortly after, Danny and Cathy visited him, having heard of him from a prisoner who was a religious fanatic. With the two fulfilling his critera of "Angels", he would recruit them to be part of his experiments. At some point in time, he would take in Eddie and Zack the same way, even giving Zack a scythe to encourage him to join.
