The main character of the series, called Serena in the English dub (nicknamed Bunny in the manga). Usagi is a carefree schoolgirl with an enormous capacity for love, and transforms into the heroine called Sailor Moon. At the beginning of the series she is portrayed as an immature crybaby who hates having to fight, however over the course of the series you come to know her sweet and selfless side.  Usagi is a bit selfish and very much a crybaby, lazy, clumsy, and also an academic underachiever. She’s also not very good at cooking. However, she cares deeply about her friends and family.   Usagi is very trusting, and believes that everyone had a better nature. She doesn’t believe in killing innocent humans, even when they had been transformed into vicious monsters, and always seeks ways to heal them instead. Usagi matures a great deal through the series, and even though she is still prone to some childish behavior and bouts of silliness, she becomes a capable young woman.

Candy is an orphan grown up in the orphanage &quot;Pony&#039;s Home&quot;. She has got golden blond hair, green eyes and freckles in her funny face. Candy is very kind-hearted, helpful, optimistic, cheerful and vivid and doesn&#039;t have any inferiority complex because of being an orphan at all. So many people like her or love her very much. While being a teenager, she is adopted by the clan Adley, the biggest, very rich, influential and highly respected clan in the United States of America. The daughter of the Danglars, Eug&eacute;nie is the childhood friend of Albert and Franz and is engaged to Albert. Though she is usually friendly to Albert, she appears displeased with the arrangement and sometimes acts cold towards him. She shows her affections through composing music for and playing the piano; her dream is to become a professional pianist.

Sakura is the only female ninja of Team 7. When she first meets Naruto she is physically weak and has an immense crush on Sasuke. She dislikes Naruto as well. The only thing she's good at is her brain as the smartest girl in ninja academy her excellent chakra control, out of that she could be categorized as a kunoichi with no exceptional talent. In the first part of the Chuunin exam, she is easily able to answer the questions, but in the second part, she is unable to defeat the Sound ninja attacking Sasuke and Naruto. She makes a pledge to become a better ninja and a better person. To prove her commitment she cuts her long hair with a kunai.  In the third part of the Chuunin Exam, she goes up against Ino Yamanaka, her former friend but a current rival for Sasuke's affections. The two defeat each other simultaneously. This turns their relationship into a rivalry between friends.  After the time skip, she is now a chuunin having been trained by Tsunade for the past two years.

 She is now a medic Ninja of considerable skill, enough skill to possibly defeat Tsunade one day. It is shown when she is able to do a complicated surgery to extract poisons out of Kankuro body and make an antidote of the new type of poison that Sasori used, which the Suna gakure medical-nin unable to do.  During the time skip she's also matured in personality, she becomes calmer compare to when she was Genin, but she still has her temper.  Sakura has grown not only as a medical-nin, but now she's also a capable fighter. She can manage to destroy the ground with her fist using her inhuman strength, a chakra control technique she learned from Tsunade, and she is also able to beat Sasori from Akatsuki together with elder Chiyo from Sunagakure. Additionally, she is a genjutsu type, and though she has yet to use that potential she does show an almost complete immunity to being trapped in an illusion.

Polly is the only girl on the team. Although Speedy is the leader, Polly does her fair share of bossing her teammates around. She has a fiery temper and a dynamic, independent personality. Polly battles evil with the power of love: she plays a flute when going into battle, her projectile weapons are heart-shaped, and she can charm foes to make them move in the range of her razor-sharp claws. She has blue eyes and wears red and pink armour. Her name is a play on the word polyester; While Guido and Speedy never remove most of their armour even at work (a parody of Superman hiding his identity only by wearing glasses), Polly removes her armour on two occasions, during which she is shown with short red hair and a hairband on which her ears sit.

Julia is a snobbish, rich young lady. She and Judy initially does not get along with each other and she would stop at nothing just to reveal Judy&#039;s secret background.    However, acquaintance with Judy gradually changes her, Julia becomes Judy and Sally&#039;s best friends.     She falls in love with Sallie&#039;s older brother, Jimmy, eventually they are betrothed.   

Koto is the referee in the Dark Tournament. She is a fox demon like Kurama, but seems to have no special abilities. She is later replaced by Juri and switches to commentary. She was also the referee in the Makai Tournament. She is an idol in both the human and demon planes. She seems to have a crush on Kurama&#039;s demon form, Yoko.    Koto often seemed overly amused by the suffering of the fighters in the Dark Tournament, leading to her looking like a mean character. However, she later reveals that she can only enjoy brutality when both contestants can fight back. During the tournament, she begins a ten-count in an attempt to stop Bakken from beating up Kurama- showing that she is not totally sadistic. She also has the entire tournament rule book memorized.    Koto is briefy the object of affection for Chu, whom she doesn&#039;t share feelings for. She sometimes puts on a cute act, but is very shrewd and manages to get in jabs at Juri being a former &#039;cocktail waitress&#039;.
