Shugo Kunisaki is a player who wins a special chibi version of Kite&#039;s avatar in a contest developed by Aura. He originally believes himself to have outgrown video games, but after winning the character along with his sister, Rena, who won a version of BlackRose&#039;s avatar, the two join the game. He lacks planning skills and is incapable of turning down the requests of others. He is given a version of Kite&#039;s Twilight Bracelet by Aura that does not harm humans. Aura&#039;s plan is to motivate Shugo by allowing him to be a hero, after meeting and talking to him using another player&#039;s character in the past.

Muroto is a main antagonist in the final stage of Gantz. He is a central character in the Kurono Alien arc and does not make an appearance in the manga. He is sixteen years old.     ~! Muroto is almost always seen alongside partner-in-crime Kajimura and is known for his sadistic and violent acts. Before the Gantz missions, he died as consequence of crime and was shot to death shortly after Kajimura. He blames society for what he is today and also cites his parents&#039; abuse as a contributing factor to his mania. Although he ruthlessly takes lives and displays great enjoyment in doing so, he claims that he does a lot of things out of fear of being the one to get hurt first. For most of the Kurono Alien mission he relies on his &quot;acting skills&quot; to mislead the group, making himself out to be an innocent teenager being dragged along by bad influence Kajimura in a life of crime that he wants no part of. Muroto pretends to by shy and fragile but at the same time suggests an attack on Kurono whenever he can.!~

He used to live in America with Aki, but he didn't care for soccer because of an accident involving one of his best friends. He used to be in Teikoku until he came to Raimon to spy, and saw everyone working hard. He then decided to join the Raimon Soccer Club. With Endo, he feels that he can keep up with him, unlike his friend, Ichinose. He quits being a spy when Fuyukai, the coach and another spy from Teikoku, planned to blow up the bus they were using.

He is one of the players of Teikoku Academy.

Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and is best friends with all of them and values them over all else. At first glance, Luffy does not appear to be very intelligent, often seeing things in childish manner and can easily be amazed by the simplest things. However, because he views the world in a straightforward and simple manner, he is occasionally the only person who can see past the events and see what should be done.  

Luffy seems to have an unstoppable appetite, a characteristic that is common to the Japanese archetype of the (at times simple-minded) young adventurer with a heart of gold; perhaps the hunger more so in Luffy's case due to having an elastic stomach. Luffy is also another one of the several characters given the middle initial "D".  

Although Luffy is fairly lightheaded and a funny character, he has an unstoppable sense of determination, optimism and commitment and will do anything to stand up for his friends and comrades. Along with that, he has great courage to back it up as well as unbelievable strength. Ever since consuming the devil fruit he was shown to be not worried about his inability to swim, much like his brother. Much of these traits are common among D's. His only display of true fear is towards his grandfather, to the point that he does not fight back and is intimidated at the mere mention of him.  

Luffy never kills any of the villains, no matter how cold-hearted they are; instead, he frequently sends the villain flying, knocking them out or until the point that they are almost near death, which results in some of the villains searching for revenge, such as Buggy the Clown and Alvida. Author Eiichiro Oda explains that it's not a question of morality so much as a matter of punishing the villains for their crimes - he feels that killing the villains lets them off too lightly, whereas he considers letting them live to see their dreams be ruined a far more fitting punishment.  

Luffy has a dream, and to even have a chance at achieving this dream, he says that he must find the One Piece and become King of the Pirates. He knows that to achieve his goal, he will have to defeat many strong opponents, including the World Government and his childhood hero Shanks. 

Ryouga is Ranma Saotome's eternal rival and a friend to him, the only one he has outright stated to truly consider as such, arguably the tritagonist, and one of the most powerful fighters in the series. Ryouga's most notable characteristic is that, like his parents (and even his entire family), he has no sense of direction whatsoever. He is unable to go the right way, often sticking to the letter of any directions given to him, regardless of whether the path eventually turns. He has an inability to understand even the simplest of directions or draw any legible maps, once running the wrong way at the start of a three-legged race or getting lost in Shampoo's house for hours; looking for the exit. He cannot even follow someone pointing in the correct direction.

Chiaki is one of Makoto&#039;s good friends that joins her and Kousuke in games of baseball after school.     ~!When Makoto attempts to stop Kousuke and his girlfriend from getting hit by a train, she encounters Chiaki, who has turned back time to prevent the accident. This reveals that Chiaki can leap through time as well. Chiaki tells Makoto that in the alternate future, Kousuke and his girlfriend were both killed in the accident. Chiaki then explains that he is from the future, and people in the future can leap through time.    Chiaki reveals that the reason Makoto can leap through time is because of the events that took place in the science lab; Makoto was startled by the mysterious figure (who is revealed to be Chiaki) which caused her to trip and fall onto the device that charged time-leaping abilities in his time.     Chiaki explains that the reason he came to the past was to see a certain painting, which happens to be the same painting Makoto&#039;s aunt has not yet finished restoring; this painting has been destroyed in the future. He laments that he will never get to see it because he used up his time-leaping abilities to save Kousuke, so not only can he not leap to the painting, he can&#039;t return home either. When Makoto asks him to wait until the painting is restored, he tells her that because he told her about his time-leaping abilities, he will disappear the next day.!~

Sango's younger brother who was once under the control of Naraku. When Naraku disguised himself as Kagewaki Hitomi, the son of a lord, he used Lord Hitomi's father to call upon Sango and the demon slayers to slay a false demon. Kohaku was made to turn against his companions, killing his father and all the demon slayers, Sango surviving only by sheer luck. Kohaku was killed that night also by the castle guards, only to be later resurrected by Naraku as an amnesiac puppet. After several encounters with Sango and her friends, he began to recover his painful memories and sought to secretly find a way to destroy Naraku while still maintaining the illusion of being a puppet and later forming an alliance with Kagura. For a while Kohaku accompanied Kikyou with the intention of assisting her in carrying out Midoriko's will. Around the time of Kikyou's death, however, he was saved from Byakuya by Sesshomaru, and currently travels with Sesshomaru, Jaken, and Rin. ("Kohaku" means "amber.")

A small, ferret-like creature, Japolo appears in episodes 1-4. He is Tiara&#039;s &quot;partner&quot;, according to Guardian World terminology. Despite this name, Tiara and Japolo are neither peers nor equals. Japolo serves Tiara as a familiar and acts as a battery-pack and backup to her powers. He is highly intelligent, and possesses much knowledge which Tiara doesn&#039;t about her mission and why the Throne was stolen. Japolo&#039;s powers include being able to freeze time by creating suspension fields (which allows battles to go in crowded cities without anyone noticing), and detecting other magical presences from his world. Dr. Ochanomizu, a recurring character in many of Osamu Tezuka's manga, including Astro Boy, can be seen "lecturing" at Narita International Airport, outside of Tokyo, on HIV and safe sex.  Dr. Ochanomizu was most famously seen as the mentor to Astro Boy and the creator of Astro's sister and parents.

The 'Special Zombie' known as Oars is the 900th zombie created by Dr. Hogback for Gecko Moria. His physical appearance is that of a massive, horned creature even larger than a normal giant. In his past life he was known as 'the Demon of the Frozen Land', having conquered and mercilessly ruled over many countries and islands over five-hundred years ago. His 'rebirth' as a zombie is an event of great importance to the crew of Thriller Bark. In order to make Oars the strongest zombie ever created, Gecko Moria implants the shadow of Straw Hat Luffy into the zombie's body.  Having Luffy's shadow in his body, Oars's attacks have names similar to Luffy's moves (Gomu Gomu no Scythe, Gomu Gomu no Volcano). Though he is initially incapable of stretching his body, he gains this ability when Gecko Moira takes control of his body. Despite his immense size, Oars is extremely fast, moving so quick that he almost disappears for an instant before unleashing an attack. Making matters worse, small doses of salt have no effect on him because of his size.   ~!Oars is ultimately defeated by the combined efforts of the entire Straw Hat crew, after several unsuccessful attempts. He is killed when Gecko Moria absorbs the shadows of all of the Thriller Bark zombies.!~
