Nine years have passed since Douglas and Miriam met. Miriam, who is now a 17-year-old girl, is perhaps falling in love with Douglas. However, Douglas only thinks of Miriam as a child. Miriam goes to a friend's wedding and goes missing. Douglas discovers Miriam, who lost her memory...

Miriam is an energetic girl who lives on a farm with a woman named Grace. Miriam enlists a trio of young men named Douglas, Joel and Card to help out on Grace's farm. However, they have no interest in helping Miriam and ignore her. Finally, Miriam and Douglas are a couple... sort of. With Douglas' unromantic, awkward ways and his determination not to fall head-over-heels in love with her, Miriam sees no romance in their future. 
 
But enter an assassin bent on killing Douglas for the damage he caused the criminal Cartel in "Jikan wo Tomete," and maybe things will turn out a little more romantic...in a way.
