The main character and 62nd successor to Hokuto Shinken. Known in Shanghai as &quot;Y&aacute;n W&aacute;ng&quot; (閻王, En&#039;ō). Loves smoking cigarettes, reading, and has a good smelling instinct. His fighting technique is similar to Toki, in which he fight in a fluid and smooth fighting style. 

In Japan, he&#039;s a lecturer at the Tōwa Women&#039;s University. Depicted as somewhat easy going, as well as comical; compared to his namesake and nephew, Tetsuo Hara describes Kenshiro Kasumi as a combination of the strength of Kenshiro, the good nature of Keiji Maeda from Hana no Keiji and the sarcastic attitude of the title character of Nakabo Rintaro. However, remains the stoic persona which would be eventually seen in his nephew. He uses the same catch-phrase as his nephew, &quot;You&#039;re already dead&quot; (お前はもう死んでいる, Omae wa mō shindeiru), but pronounces it in Chinese, &quot;Nǐ yǐ jīng sǐ le&quot; (儞已經死了). Despite the fact that his father Tesshin is the successor of Hokuto Shinken, Kenshiro is revealed to be descended from the Hokuto Sōke bloodline from his mother&#039;s side of the family. This in turn shows he has some blood relation to Kenshiro from the Hokuto No Ken part of the franchise as they are both related to Shuken by blood and part of the Hokuto Sōke bloodline. However It is as of yet unknown what their exact relation is merely that Kenshiro Kasumi is indeed his ancestor.

A Japanese actor, voice actor, singer and narrator from Shiogama, Miyagi Prefecture. He graduated from Tohoku Gakuin University's economics school and is currently affiliated with Across Entertainment.

He was the manager of the Tagajou Senior High School basketball team before he made a name for himself. His voice acting debut was the OVA [Megazone 23](https://anilist.co/anime/1935/) as the motorcycle-riding [Shinji Nakagawa](https://anilist.co/character/56633/), while his television debut was the anime [Bosco Adventure](https://anilist.co/anime/3460/) as the cowardly Otter. His break-out role, however, was in the anime [Ranma ½](https://anilist.co/anime/210/), in which he played the dual role of [Hibiki Ryoga](https://anilist.co/character/2369/) and the [Jusenkyo Guide](https://anilist.co/character/58321/). In 1991, Yamadera joined forces with [Toshihiko Seki](https://anilist.co/staff/95129/) and [Noriko Hidaka](https://anilist.co/staff/95181/) to form the acting unit Banana Fritters, which disbanded in 1995. Yamadera's also known for his versatile range, as shown in the video game Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony where he voiced all five Monokuma Kubs, including Monophanie (female). According to the Danganronpa V3 official blog, Yamadera is the first person who came to mind as "the same person voicing multiple characters at the same time". No one has as much "multiple characters" experience as him. He was able to take the individual quirks of each of the Monokuma Kubs and make all of them unique.

Kenshiro Kasumi is the heir of the ancient martial art called Hokuto Shinken. One day Kenshiro's girlfriend Yuki witnesses one of the hits of Taizanji Kenpo (Hokuto Shinken rival school) and she's killed. Kenshiro comes to avenge her and he's framed for the crime.
