Aiko, or Ai-chan, first appears as a transfer student from Osaka, which shows from her Osaka accent. Like a typical Osakan, Aiko is also very humorous and often cracks jokes. She's the smart aleck type of the group.   One important fact about Aiko is that she has a passion for sports, and is very athletic. She seems to fare better than her classmates and thus makes her popular in the sports department. The only sport she is weak at is swimming.  Aiko has no real love interest, but she shows affection for Leon of the FLAT4. Aiko's favorite color is blue, and her instrument is the harmonica. Her family consists of her divorced parents, Koji and Atsuko, and Aiko wishes one day for them to be together again. 

After the losing of magical ability to become witches, they once again become them. But, now they have to go through tests from the Witches of the Witch World. They also meet a new member, from New York, U.S. comes Momoko (the yellow Ojamajo).

Doremi Harukaze, 3rd grade student at Misora Elementary School, claims to be the world's unluckiest pretty girl. Fascinated by witchcraft, she is drawn into a mysterious shop where she meets Majo Rika and is able to deduce that this lady is in fact a real witch. Being exposed by a human triggers a curse that transforms witches into magical frogs. To regain her original body, Rika must turn Doremi into a witch by teaching her how to use magic. Thrilled by this odd development, Harukaze becomes a witch apprentice. Unfortunately, her two best friends, Hazuki Fujiwara and Aiko Senoo, discover that Doremi has become a magic user. Afraid that Harukaze might become a magical frog too, Majo Rika recruits both Hazuki and Aiko and makes them witch apprentices too. The trio has lots of adventures as they try to triumph the necessary trials to become real witches.

Na-i-sho is a 13 episode OVA series with episodes taking place during the ~motto~ season. It is a bit more mature than the TV seasons, and looks to develop each of the five witches romantically. Hana is back to a baby, and the mahou shop is a bakery.

Upon re-entering the witch world the girls accidentally come by a Blue rose field and witness the birth of the future witch queen: Hana-chan. Due to witnessing her birth the girls are then put in charge of baby Hana-chan and must raise her of their "mothers".

But will four ten year old girls be able to raise a baby when they're still children themselves?! Can Pop finally catch up with her older clumsy sister? Will Majorika finally turn back to normal?

One day Pop was out scavenging with Hana, and found a beautiful rose inside the Queen's garden. Curious, she picked the rose and brought it home. Unwittingly, that rose can cause all wishes to become true, whether good or bad. Good wishes will turn the rose white and bloom, while bad wishes will turn the rose black and wither. After a heated argument with her sister Doremi, Pop wishes that Doremi loses all her magic and be turned into a mouse. Hilarity ensues, as Doremi and the others try to put everything back to normal.

Ojamajo Doremi: Owarai Gekijou is an original net animation spin-off based on the Ojamajo Doremi series. This series consists of 26 short episodes that were uploaded fortnightly on Toei Animation's YouTube channel. This series features chibi versions of the character designs from the light novel series.

Mo~tto Ojamajo Doremi movie features the five witches Doremi, Aiko, Hazuki, Onpu, and Momoko as they visit Doremi's grandpa's home. There, they learn of the mystery of the frog stone, a magical place where magic used to mingle in the old countryside. Aiko rediscovers her love for grandpa, and Doremi learns a piece of the magical kingdom's past.

Now that their teenage years are over, they have to face the obstacles of life and are forced to make big choices. But the bond that binds them all together will surely lead them to their own "happiness".

Ojamajo Doremi: Heartwarming Theater is a five episode Flash animation spin-off series produced for the Ojamajo Doremi 20th Anniversary Thanks Festival crowdfunding campaign in 2020. The story is based off Ojamajo Doremi Story Picture Book: The Best Present. This mini-series was exclusively released to Camp-fire crowdfunding backers on Blu-ray, distributed early March 2021.
