Ichigo&#039;s sweets spirit who specializes in vanilla. Often labeled a Spartan, Vanilla&#039;s attitude is quite fiery. She generally fights with Chocolat, though they don&#039;t seem to actually hate each other. She is often called pudgy. Ichigo and Vanilla consider each other to be best friends, and she is extremely loyal to her partner. She often plays a big part in cheering Ichigo up whenever Ichigo feels discouraged. Her sweets magic can decorate plates, make people shrink to the size of a Sweets Spirit, or fill the entire room with a pastry&#039;s scent. She can also translate sweets spirit language into Japanese.

Middle schooler Ichigo Amano has never excelled at anything (other than eating cakes, of course), but a chance encounter with famed pâtissier Henri Lucas changes everything! Henri immediately recognizes Ichigo’s extraordinary palate, offering her a spot at the prestigious pastry school known as St. Marie Academy. Attended Nihon Narration Engi Kenkyuujo before becoming affiliated with her first management company. She works for Link Plan and was formerly affiliated with I'm Enterprise and Assemble Heart. Because of her strong voice, she often voiced tsundere characters.

She married voice actor [Yuuki Kaji](https://anilist.co/staff/95672/) on her 30th birthday in 2019. On June 30, 2022 she announced that she was expecting her first child with Kaji.

Amano Ichigo is a 14-year-old cake lover. After meeting a lecturer, Henrie Lucas, at a cake buffet, she enters St. Marie Academy—a school that raises and cultivates future pâtissières. Not only is she placed in the elitist group with three princes of sweets, but she also meets sweets spirit Vanilla on her first day of transfer. Ichigo is air-headed, a total klutz, and a complete novice at cake making, but she's trying her best mastering one at a time in order to make her eaters happy.
