Medaka is an incredibly beautiful and talented first year student. She became Hakoniwa Academy's Student President as she managed to get 98% of the student body's support. One of her pledges during her campaign was to set up a suggestion box (which later became known as the Medaka Box), along with her childhood friend Zenkichi, goes out to solve any and all problems that comes through.   She is very confident and isn't ashamed of any part of her body at all. She is extremely intelligent and can understand all her subjects well. She has a positive outlook on everyone and everything surrounding her. Medaka sees it as her job to enhance the national prestige. Medaka is capable of learning Abnormalities and completely mastering them, to the extent that she can use them to one hundred and twenty percent of their capability, becoming more skilled with them than even their original owners. This ability allows her to learn any skill quickly, from simple skills like baseball to the impossible feats performed by the members of the Thirteen Part. However, The End does have its limits; Medaka cannot learn skills that exceed her physical limits, and she is unable to stop herself from learning an Abnormality when she experiences it. She is also unable to learn styles   

~!Ten years later, on the anniversary of Ajimu's disappearance, Medaka calls her friends to a reunion at Hakoniwa Academy. She leaves a message for Zenkichi, telling him to meet her in her office once everyone arrives.When Zenkichi comes, Medaka is sleeping on the floor, surrounded by dogs. Waking, Medaka greets Zenkichi.The dogs begin clambering over her, which Medaka finds funny. It is revealed that The End, and all the skills Medaka learned with it, have faded away. After freeing herself from the dogs, Medaka explains to Zenkichi that she has finished her "Moonsault Plan", a project to restore the moon. She explains she wants children born after the moon's destruction to see it, as well as both Ajimu and Kumagawa, so that they know she is still well. She reassures Zenkichi that both are alive, and shows him their messages from the 100 Flowers Run. Medaka explains that she has kept all the messages over the past ten years, storing them in the suggestion box. After she admits that the reconstruction of the moon will take several years, Zenkichi challenges Medaka to a duel, with the condition that she marry him if he wins. Medaka is delighted, and accepts, telling him that if she wins, he will have to marry her. Medaka charges Zenkichi, promising that she will never say goodbye to him again.!~

When newly elected Student Council President Medaka Kurokami institutes her idea for a suggestion box where people can submit problems that need to be solved, she's expecting things like rescuing lost puppies and giving advice. What she and her best friend Zenkichi find instead, however, are the first hints of an unbelievable secret, and their school, Hakoniwa Academy, and Medaka herself are somehow at the very center of the growing maelstrom! As what seemed like an innocent past time turns into a dangerous game, Medaka and her recruits to the Student Council discover new depths to both themselves and their own unexpected abilities. And then things get really out of control!

Kurokami Medaka, a first year, is elected as Student Council President, and the first thing she does is establish a suggestion box, later dubbed by students the "Medaka Box". Medaka encourages students to submit any problem to the box without hesitation and promises to take on any issue from anyone. 
 
Since Medaka won the Student Council elections with a staggering 98% of the vote, she ends up as the Council's only member. She asks her childhood friend, Hitoyoshi Zenkichi, for help and he grudgingly agrees, becoming the Student Council's lowest ranking member. Soon Medaka recruits two more people to the Student Council, the former judo club member Akune Kouki as secretary and the current swim club member Kikaijima Mogana, on loan for 300 yen a day, as treasurer. 
 
Now the Student Council members spend their days solving the problems submitted through the Medaka Box, whether they be hooligans in clubs where they don't belong, girls who need help writing love letters or people who've lost their pets, gradually earning the respect and admiration of the entire school.

Kurokami Medaka, a first year, is elected as Student Council President, and the first thing she does is establish a suggestion box. Since she was just elected as Student Council President, she's holding all the Student Council's responsibilities, and wearing their armbands. So she asks for her childhood friend, Hitoyoshi Zenkichi, for help. 
After filtering through the suggestions, which were mostly ridiculous complaints or congratulations on becoming president, they find out the Judo Club needs one more member to participate. So, Medaka volunteers her and Zenkichi, who have both been practicing Judo for years, to help train the club and borrow Zenkichi for the match.

Kuguhara is Medaka Kurokami's homeroom teacher. Since Medaka is the only student who attends class, Medaka and Kuguhara had lots of time to talk. He had some part in Medaka deciding to become the Student Council president. Naginoura is Myouri Unzen's homeroom teacher. 
Second Novel 
Eburi was a counselor at the academy. Essentially, he becomes Class -13's homeroom teacher. Mukueda&rsquo;s flawed ideals bring him into conflict with the Election Management Committee and Hansode Shiranui.
