Tōma's friend and classmate. A funny individual who tends to see Tōma's bad luck, who he calls "Kami-yan", in a different way. He is a self-confessed pervert, lolicon and masochist who enjoys being punished by his teacher, Tsukuyomi. He is always seen with Motoharu. Together with him, Motoharu and Tōma, they are known as the three idiots in their class, as not only do they have the lowest test scores but also they are all level 0's except the latter two have good reasons for being that way.  "Pierce Aogami" is actually a nickname that means "Blue Hair With Piercings"; his real name has not yet been revealed.

Set in a city of scientifically advanced superhuman students, but in a world where magic is also real. Touma Kamijou&rsquo;s right hand, the Imagine Breaker, will negate all magic, psychic, or divine powers, but not his own bad luck. One day he finds a young girl hanging on his balcony railing. She turns out to be a nun from the Church of England, and her mind has been implanted with the Index-Librorum-Prohibitorum - all the magical texts the Church has removed from circulation.

He was initially reported to have retired from voice acting in April 2015 due to personal circumstances. However, he was jailed for 3 years in September 2015 for possession of child pornography, and his work relationship with FUNimation was terminated.

Index is still a fugitive, and many powerful magical organizations and individuals want to take her to use the books in her memory, eliminating her in the process. Despite the participation of the "Ace of Tokiwadai," Mikoto Misaka, the other students who are participating are still putting their utmost effort into winning, no matter how impossible the feat may seem against her might. 

However, not all is fun and games. Due to the festival, Academy City opens to the outside world, and various factions have begun plotting ways to infiltrate the city. Misaka appears to be on their radar, and as the festival proceeds, people lurking from the shadows begin to emerge...
