Urouge, also known as Mad Monk, is a pirate from a sky island and is the captain of the Fallen Monk Pirates. He is one of twelve pirates who are referred to as the "Worst Generation". Urouge is from a Sky Island, judging by the style of the wings on his back this would indicate he is of Bilkan origins. Urouge's most prominent personality trait is that he is almost always smiling. Even when defeated or when believing himself to be near death he will still have a smile on his face. He also seems to be respectful toward people's plights.

Urouge ate a currently unnamed Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to convert damage inflicted onto him into physical strength, which results in expanding muscles and enlarged body size.

Gold Roger was known as the Pirate King, the strongest and most infamous being to have sailed the Grand Line. The capture and death of Roger by the World Government brought a change throughout the world. His last words before his death revealed the location of the greatest treasure in the world, One Piece. It was this revelation that brought about the Grand Age of Pirates, men who dreamed of finding One Piece (which promises an unlimited amount of riches and fame), and quite possibly the most coveted of titles for the person who found it, the title of the Pirate King.

The 14th One Piece movie, which commemorates the anime's 20th anniversary, takes place during the Pirates Festival, an epic treasure hunt in which pirates from across the globe race to find an item that once belonged to Gol D. Roger himself!

A collaboration between Nissin Cup Noodles HUNGRY DAYS campaign x rock group BUMP OF CHICKEN: a full-fledged music video directed by Kyotarou Hayashi for the song Kinen Satsuei by BUMP OF CHICKEN. 
The music video follows the series of One Piece-themed "Hungry Days: Aoharu ka yo." commercials in a what-if world of Luffy's Straw Hat Pirates if they were living as high school students. The theme of the video is about graduation, where the Straw Hat Pirates recollect the days of encounters, farewells, and adolescence through photos taken in their pasts.
