In Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha, Nanoha Takamachi is sweet if naive third-grader. However, she has always felt like she is missing something in her life: all the people around her have someone there​ are very close to but she lacks this. However, Nanoha is no longer an "ordinary" third grader when she meets and helps the wounded ferret, who just happens to be a mage from another planet, Yuuno Scrya. He has come to Earth to gather the "Jewel Seeds," mysterious artifacts containing great power. Nanoha agrees to help him, but the task seems harder than presented when she meets Fate Testarossa, another girl searching for the Jewel Seeds.  In A's, six months after the first season, Nanoha still remains in contact with her best friend Fate. However, things take an unexpected turn when she is assaulted by a special "Belka" type mage, Vita of the Wolkenritter. Just in time to save her comes Fate, but Vita also has backup. The group of the four, the Wolkenritter, are seeking mage's "Linker Cores" for an unknown purpose and manage to steal Nanoha's.  Ten years after A's, in StrikerS, Nanoha is a commander who trains new mages. She takes in two fresh recruits to pay special attention to, Subaru Nakajima, who idolizes her, and Teana Lanster, Subaru's best friend. Nanoha is an S ranked mage and is still great friends with Fate and Hayate.

3rd grader Takamachi Nanoha stumbled upon an injured talking ferret after hearing his telepathic cries for help. The ferret turned out to be Yuuno, an archeologist and mage from another world who had accidentally scattered the dangerous Jewel Seeds throughout Earth. Without the strength to collect the Jewel Seeds, Yuuno had resumed a ferret form and needed someone else to take on the task for him. He gave a red jewel to Nanoha explaining to her with this she could transform and use magic to combat the monsters that threatened them due to the Jewel Seeds. But the monsters are the least of their worries, as Yuuno and Nanoha are not the only ones out to collect the Jewel Seeds.

She is a popular Japanese singer-songwriter and voice actress (seiyuu), currently affiliated with Amuleto (as seiyuu) and with King Records (as songstress). Affectionately called Yukarin by her fans, she is also known for her soft voice and interest in Lolita fashion. She made her debut as a voice actress in 1997, releasing her debut single Yuuki wo Kudasai on March 26, 1997.
While also a well-known seiyuu, several of her releases have been used as opening and ending themes for anime series, while some have reached the Oricon top 100 singles and album charts. Her role as Takamachi Nanoha in the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series contributed to a rise in her popularity, as several of her singles (Little Wish: Lyrical Step, Spiritual Garden, Hoshizora no Spica, Beautiful Amulet) were used as the ending themes for the franchise's anime adaptations.

After the events of the Lost Logia case, Nanoha waits patiently for the day she can reunite with her newfound friend, Fate. Her mother left behind a inheritance for her after she died and some shady people are after Fiasse and the inheritance. Sequel of Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 1st.

The manga takes place four years after the JS incident in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, and stars Vivio Takamichi, a fourth-year elementary student at St. Hilde Academy of Magic. Vivio has learned to conjure her adult form and has received her own Device — named Sacred Heart — from Nanoha, and has promised Nanoha to never use either for mischief. Then a mysterious magical fighter appears and targets Vivio.

A manga adaptation of a thirteen episode sequel to Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, a magical girl alternate universe spinoff of the Triangle Heart series of games and OAVs.

The story appears to be centered on the investigation of the Book of the Silver Cross, an ancient Belkan magical tome. Tohma Avenir, whilst traveling, discovers a girl named Lily Strosek trapped inside a construct. When rescuing her, she gives Tohma an amulet that gives him access to a new Device power. However, unbeknown to them, there is another with a similar Device causing massive damage and injury, leading to an investigation by the Time Space Administration Bureau.

The series takes place four years after the events of Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, during which Nanoha Takamachi rescued and adopted a young girl named Vivio, who is the reincarnation of the Sankt Kaiser, Olivie Segbrecht. After entering her fourth year of elementary school, Vivio is given her own intelligence device, Sacred Heart, and gains the power to transform using her adult Sankt Kaiser mode. She soon comes across a girl named Einhart Stratos who, similar to Vivio, is the descendant of another Sankt Kaiser ruler, Claus G.S. Ingvalt. As Einhart becomes determined to prove her fighting style is the strongest, Vivio befriends her and, together with her friends, enters a martial arts tournament where they fight against various opponents and learn more about their past lives.
