Shigeo is one half of the first official couple in 2-C. Apparently he has never kissed a girl before his girlfriend Madoka. Initially one of the five runners of the men&#039;s relay for class 2-C, until he fell over Napoleon during the 100m dash. Trusts in the good of other people but not all are as trustful as him. He also doesn&#039;t seem to mind grovelling.     Kido Madoka: Shigeo&#039;s current girlfriend is Madoka. He appears to be insecure in his relationship with Madoka, often questioning some of her actions. Once such incident occurred during the school cultural festival in which Madoka gave her number to one of her customers. During the survival test, he was unwilling to shoot Madoka, who was in the opposing army. This shows his devotion to his relationship, unfortunately, Madoka really wanted to participate in the Tea House and had no problems shooting him. 

Tsukamoto Tenma is an ordinary 2nd year high school student who has fallen in love with one of her classmates, Karasuma Ooji. However, currently she is unable to confess her feelings to him. To make things worse, she found out that Karasuma is transferring to another school in a year. On the other hand, Tenma's other classmate, Harima Kenji (who is a delinquent) is also in love with Tenma. Not being able to confess his feelings, Harima gets depressed day by day.

Continuing right where season 1 left off: Harima still likes Tenma but still runs into obstacles everytime he tries to confess his love to her. To complicate the situation, Class 2-D challenges class 2-C once again and there's a rumor floating around that Harima and Yakumo are dating as the school prepares for the cultural festival.

Second-year student Tsukamoto Tenma learns that her secret crush, Karasuma Oji, will be transferring to a school in America. In a last-ditch effort to reveal her love to him, she writes a long (but anonymous) love letter. When Karasuma ends up postponing his transfer for another year, Tenma realizes she has to tell him how she feels before time runs out again. But her extreme nervousness around him prompts her to try and setup all sorts of schemes to get close to him and let him know, without actually coming out and saying it. Meanwhile, unknown to Tenma, the school delinquent, Harima Kenji, has the biggest crush on her, as well as the same anxieties about being direct. Around this love triangle of clueless people are a few of Tenma's friends, and her younger (but older looking, more mature, and more popular) sister, Yakumo.
