The main character of the story. A reclusive, glasses-wearing college student who initially refuses Noi Crezant's request to help save the world. The reason behind his unsocial nature is his grandfather, who raised Yuuhi and believed that having friends was useless. Eventually, he changes his mind in order to help Samidare Asahina, who he usually refers to as Princess.  His ability is called domain control. He can exert a weak telekinetic force on a small bubble of air, just enough to hold himself above the ground for a few seconds or slow down an enemy's attack. Although his overall combat skills are much weaker than that of most of the other characters.

Everything about college student Amamiya Yuuhi is average: grades, looks and his blasé outlook on life. So what happens when he awakens one day to a talking lizard, who informs him that there is a gigantic hammer in outer space, poised to split the Earth into pieces, and requests his allegiance in the fight against the forces of evil? Pretend it never happened! Unfortunately for Yuuhi, a little bit of coercion in the form of a super-powered princess prevents him from returning to his mediocre life-as-usual. 
In the adventure of his lifetime, Yuuhi will join forces with the unpredictable princess and seek out a motley crew of companions to fight back against an evil mage and his horrifyingly powerful homunculus before the Biscuit Hammer destroys the planet!

Continuing after the final arc in the manga, the extra chapter presents the aftermath of the story from the perspective of Akane Taiyou.

One day, unremarkable college student Yuuhi Amamiya meets a talking lizard who asks for his help saving Earth from a crisis. Before he can refuse, Yuuhi is turned into a member of the Beast Knights and given a ring that gives him the psychic power “domain control.” He is then immediately attacked by an enemy! But just as all seems lost, he’s saved by the girl next door, Samidare. 
 
But it turns out Samidare isn’t really a savior of any kind… she’s actually a demon lord who wants to conquer Earth! Drawn to her absurd strength and evil charms, Yuuhi becomes her devoted servant and acts to support her wicked schemes.
