Mirai is a thirteen-year-old girl who is just about to enter junior high. She's a strange, funny, lovely and energetic girl who is interested in various things. Her stuffed bear Mofurun that she was given by her grandmother, Kanako, is very important to her and she admires Riko a lot. Her goal is to study magic she loves while trying to gain Riko's admiration. Mirai's alter ego is the legendary Cure Miracle.

Then Batti, an ally of the dark magic user Dokurokushi, appears before them and demands the "Link Stone Emerald." Batti creates a monster called a "Yokubaru" and drives them into a corner. Mirai, Riko, and Mofurun join hands and speak the magic words "Cure-Up Rapapa," their pendants glow, and they become the legendary Precure.

The story begins when Hana, Saaya, and Homare from Hugtto! PreCure take Hagutan out for her flower garden debut. All of a sudden, the monster Usobaakka appears. He attempts to change the world into the one filled with lies and kidnaps Saaya and Homare. Hana learns the girls of Maho Girls PreCure! and Kirakira PreCure a la Mode are also his targets and decides to support them. During the battle, Hana remembers one unfulfilled promise from Usobaakka's word "Promises are lies that can't be kept by anyone." It was Hana's very important promise with a boy named Clover, whom she met in a strange world in her childhood. She gradually realizes the promise is the beginning of this big trouble. Mirai Asahina, a very curious 13-year-old girl with a love for mysterious things, met a young witch named Liko during spring break.
Led by miracles and magic, Mirai and Liko both transformed into the Legendary Witch "Precures"! 
Working together with Mirai's treasured teddy bear Mofurun and Ha-chan, a fairy born from the "Linkle Smartbook", they tried to repel the chaos that was encroaching upon the "Magic World" and "Magicless World (Human World)". However, that involved the separation of everyone. 

After being miraculously reunited a few years later, Mirai and the others begin to take steps towards their futures in their respective worlds. Mirai is a college student in the Magicless World.
