__Gundam SEED:__
The commander of a ZAFT  force based in the occupied city of Banadiya  in northern Africa. Renowned as the &quot;Desert Tiger&quot; for his exploits on the African front, Waltfeld proves a formidable opponent for the Archangel crew and the Desert Dawn  resistance fighters, and he often leaves the bridge of his land battleship Lesseps and enters the battlefield to observe his enemies up close. Even in the heat of combat, Waltfeld retains his relaxed and casual attitude, and only a few things seem to excite his emotions - sampling exotic coffees, debating the pros and cons of kebab sauces, and matching wits with the pilot of the Strike Gundam.    

__Gundam SEED Destiny:__
Like Murrue Ramius, ZAFT&#039;s famous Desert Tiger relocated to Orb after the previous war. Even while living in relative seclusion, Waltfeld has maintained his own intelligence network to monitor the deteriorating world situation, and he remains a capable soldier despite the injuries he has suffered in his past battles.

C.E. 71: In the midst of war between the Naturals (OMNI) and Coordinators (ZAFT), a unit from ZAFT is dispatched to hijack the Earth Alliance's newly developed mobile suits on the neutral colony of Heliopolis. Orb Civilian Coordinator Kira Yamato attends the technical college on Heliopolis. After ZAFT hijacks 4 of the 5 mobile suits, Kira stumbles upon the last one, Strike, forced to pilot it to save his and his friend's lives. During this confusion, Kira also reunites with his childhood Coordinator friend, Athrun Zala, who ironically turns out to be a ZAFT soldier and one of the hijackers at Heliopolis. Having control of Strike, Kira joins the Earth Alliance boarding the ship known as Archangel, to protect his friends while despairing over becoming the enemy of his childhood friend and people.
 
Note: An HD remaster was broadcasting starting on December 23, 2011 with two recap episodes cut, including new and updated animation, conversion to 16:9, and updated music.

C.E. 73: While the second battle of Yachin Due brought the war between the Naturals and Coordinators to a close, tensions between the two races are at an all-time high. During a meeting between PLANT Chairman Gilbert Dullindal and Orb Representative Cagalli Yula Athha, a unit of soldiers hijack ZAFT's newly developed Gundams. ZAFT soldier Shinn Asuka along with his friends at the ZAFT ship Minerva sortie in attempt to deter this hijacking. With the assistance of Cagalli's bodyguard, Athrun Zala, the Minerva chases after the unknown ship that hijacked the Gundams until an even greater problem occurs leading to the start of the second Bloody Valentine war.
 
Note: On March 2013, the airing of the HD Remaster began. Like the HD Remaster of Gundam SEED, the remaster of this series not only improves the animation, but also alters lines and scenes from the original, as well as introducing brand new mobile suits. The episode count for the remaster was 50 episodes. The recap episode "Refrain" was completely omitted from the HD Remaster, while the final episode divided into two parts: "Final Power" and "The Chosen Future", based on the "The Chosen Future" television special, with additional footage.

Like the three specials of Gundam Seed, these specials feature new or changed scenes of the TV series. The year is CE 70. The tragedy of "Bloody Valentine" has escalated the war between the Naturals of the Earth Alliance and genetically-enhanced Coordinators of PLANT to new heights. ZAFT, PLANT's military, has a considerable advantage due to their mobile suits, which the mobile armors of the EA stand no chance against. Kira Yamato is a Coordinator living in Heliopolis, a neutral colony. However, during a surprise attack by ZAFT, Kira stumbles onto the EA's secret project, the powerful mobile suits which Kira calls Gundam. Now forced to fight against his own kinds to protect his Natural friends aboard the EA battleship Archangel, he must choose whether he should fight on, or leave the Archangel defenseless against the four other Gundam that ZAFT has stolen.

A new Gundam SEED Movie announced as part of the project "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED PROJECT Ignited" in celebration of Gundam SEED's upcoming 20th anniversary in 2022.
 
It is now Cosmic Era (C.E.) 75, two years after the dismantlement of the Destiny Plan, but warfare still continues to rage on between Naturals and Coordinators.
Independence movements are now sprouting up across Earth, and invasions by Blue Cosmos grow exponentially stronger...
To deal with these predicaments, a World Peace Supervision Organization known as COMPASS has been established, with PLANT Chairwoman Lacus Clyne as the founding leader.
Kira Yamato and the others, as its new members, intervene into various battles for the sake of this peace.
However, as these battles take place, an emergent nation known as 'FOUNDATION' appears, and they propose a joint operation to attack the Blue Cosmos Headquarters.

Will Destiny run its course, or will Kira still have the Freedom to resist against impossible odds?
