The chapter is a one-on-one conversation between Griffith and God. 
It was not published in volume format at Kentaro Miura's request, with his reason being that he felt that the chapter gave away too much information too early in the story.

Accompanied by Puck the Elf, more an annoyance than a companion, Guts relentlessly follows a dark, bloodstained path that leads only to death...or vengeance.
