A comic adaptation of the Pokemon movie! Young Max has always wished for a Pokemon partner to call his own, and when travelling magician Butler offers him Jirachi- a rare wishing Pokemon that awakens once every thousand years for seven days- he quickly jumps at the chance... without knowing he has just fallen into an evil trap set up by Butler to fulfill his own wish: the revival of a lengendary Pokemon! Together with his sister, May, and experienced trainers Ash and Brock with their Pokemon partners, Max must now rescue Jirachi from the clutches of evil before Jirachi returns to his thousand year slumber! Satoshi, Haruka, Takeshi, and Masato come upon the festival of the Wishing Star of Seven Nights. During their enjoyment, the legendary pokemon, Jirachi, decends from the heavens and befriends Masato. Jirachi, with the power to grant any wish, is sought after by many people wanting to claim its power. One man seeks to use its legendary power to revive an ancient pokemon known as Groudon, unaware of the dangers hidden within Jirachi's powers
