The plot is about a young girl named Pink who is a bandit in the desert who steals water from the Silver Company.

A comedy about a family of old-fashioned samurai living in modern-day Tokyo whose young son has to head out for an important date.

An incompetent, 18-year-old rookie policewoman named Tomato Akai apprehends the criminal Kenta Kuraaku. Published in the August 15, 1979 special issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump.

Pola hires space taxi driver Roid and the two end up fighting the evil emperor Gaganbo.

Mad Matic is a short story that parodies the 1979 Australian film, Mad Max.

Since his parents died knocked down by a mad bull, Mugifume Yamano, 21, is the only policeman in Ton-Ton village. He is assisted in his task by his younger sister and brother, Takenoko (4 years old) and Kurimaru (1 and a half). Mugifume moves by bicycle and, unfortunately, he is very naive, clumsy, and extremely stupid. One day, he meets the tiny Chii, a humanoid alien girl who came form planet Micron in a flying teapot. Chii has magical powers that will allow Mugifumie solve the problems in town more easily.

The story is that of a greedy junior high school student, Kanta, who can not eat because of a toothache. He sees a dentist, the incompetent Dr. Goat, who uses Kanta in funny experiments that make him suffer from his toothache more than before.

Escape is a five-page science fiction manga by Akira Toriyama. It was first published in a special edition of Weekly Shōnen Jump in full color. 

Escape tells the very short long odyssey of a girl with purple hair who must not be seen under any circumstances. In the manner of twist endings, this story follows the same standards as the 1950s U.S. Science Fiction comics.

Pink is a one-shot manga by Akira Toriyama, first published in December 1982 in Fresh Jump. It is also featured in Akira Toriyama's Manga Theater Vol. 2, and it was adapted into a 30 minute anime movie released on July 7, 1990.

Dragon Boy is a manga by Akira Toriyama that ran originally in the Fresh Jump. It was later released in Akira Toriyama's Manga Theater Vol. 2. Dragon Boy is best known for being a prototype for the much more popular Dragon Ball manga, which began the following year.
 
Dragon Boy features the adventures of a boy named Tangtong and an unlikely ragtag group who go on a journey to the Flower Country. This short work is 45-page long (15 for the first chapter and 21 for the second), and it combines the comedic style of Toriyama's successful Dr. Slump series with a more action-oriented plot and pays homage to famous martial art actor Jackie Chan. Toriyama noted that his goal for the series was to tell an "unconventional and contradictory" story. Like Dragon Ball, this manga is mainly based on the Chinese story Journey to the West. Several elements from the story were later reused in Dragon Ball, largely in the first 13 chapters, notably the martial arts theme and the general atmosphere. Dragon Boy even has its own version of the Dragon Ball artifacts. However, in this incarnation, the Dragon Balls produce small dragons when hit with an energy blast, which actually was quite useless when Tangtong summoned it in the story.

The Adventures of Tongpoo is a one-shot manga by Akira Toriyama that was published in the 1983 52nd issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump and was later released in the compilation Akira Toriyama's Manga Theater Vol. 2. 
Along with Dragon Boy, The Adventures of Tongpoo served as an inspiration for Dragon Ball. It is forty-five pages long, and it introduced an early concept of the Capsule as well as story elements for the second Dragon Ball chapter, "No Balls!"

Mr. Ho  is a one-shot manga, drawn by Akira Toriyama, featuring a Yamucha-like character as the protagonist. It's story is similar to Dragon Ball`s Red Ribbon Army Saga. Mr. Ho is seen wielding a bazooka, much like Yamcha in the beginning of Dragon Ball, and defeats the entire army in the same manner Goku defeated Red Ribbon Army. This one-shot also features Bulma-like character.

Kennosuke is a 5–6 years-old samurai very well mannered and very serious. He has a date with a girl named Miss Oden. Not knowing the good practice in a date, Kennosuke seeks advice from his mother and his best friend Shinobimaru, with discretion, so that no one realizes it is his first time. After a visit to the seaside and time passed in a small cafe, Kennosuke gets the opportunity to demonstrate his ability in combat when a gang tries to steal his money.

Tetsunoshin Kataiwa is a cool old man who is the mayor of Pon Pon village, a small village in the countryside by the sea. He protects his village using his Suzuki Jimny, a vehicle he nicknamed "Pochi". One day, he tracks a man because he passed through the village and threw a juice can out his car. Unknown to Tetsunoshin, the man is actually a dangerous gangster who will try to destroy the largest power plant in the country with the help of his accomplice, in an attempt destroy the whole land. Thanks to his car which has the ability to fly and fire rockets, the mayor stops the criminal and saves the land.

Mamejiro is a 6-years-old boy who lives in the countryside. He is very strong and courageous, due to helping his parents in agricultural work. After his father, a former professional wrestler, ate his ice cream, Mamejiro decides to become a delinquent. For his first felony, with the help of his best friend Joji, he decides to steal the money of a man who happens to be the burglar who attacked the neighboring agricultural cooperative. For helping the police intercept the man, Mamejiro is rewarded with a mountain of ice cream.

In year 9 of the Hanpeï era, Karamaru-kun, a four-year-old ninja, has to bring mushrooms in town and sell them to buy medicins and cigarettes for his sick grandfather. On the way, he meets a car stealer who thinks he is ninja as well. The car stealer helps Karamaru to stop a gang of three ninja thieves who took his mushrooms (they do not steal the car because none of them has a driving license). In the end, convinced that he must be a good example to the young boy, the car stealer brings the car to the police and offers Karamaru to become his disciple.

Jiora is a policeman from the planet Biretijon. One day, his ship crashes on Earth while he was pursuing dangerous criminals in space. He repairs his ship but, short of fuel, he has to take the appearance of the man he accidentally killed when he arrived on Earth, Chapat, a lazy and coward policeman from Slope Town. To raise the sum of 17 million yen needed to buy fuel for his ship, which is gold, Jiora fights crime for money as Cashman, resuming his extraterrestrial appearance.

The story is set in Pepper Town, where two guys named Dub and Peter go to a junkyard to create a really fast car to pick up girls. When completed by Peter, the car was named "Peter 1" with Dub as its driver. The car is controlled by a computer and has its own personality and can talk to Dub.

A 200-year-old demon child named Ackman wakes up after a fifty-year nap. His parents explain that they have the mission to kill people and sell their souls to the Dark Lord for money. After his sister Medusa gives him more modern clothes and a sword to replace his trident, Ackman begins to kill people while his faithful Goldon, a red bat-winged creature, gathers the souls in a jar.
