Maro is a beautiful goddess who lives a peaceful life in the heavens and uses her water ladle to control the weather at her command. But she clumsily drops it onto Earth and hurries to retrieve it only to find that it was picked up by possibly the worst person it could have been. Kiriko Toshiki seems to be a great kid who is kind to everyone, smart, athletic and good looking, but that is all a façade and underneath it all is a sadistic elementary school kid. When he finds the water ladle, his life changes. With the water ladle in his possession, he now controls the weather and Maro is left helpless until she gets it back from Kiriko. But until that day comes, Kiriko plans on teasing and torturing Maro in so many ways.

Being a teenager is never easy… especially for a centaur! Himeno is a sweet, shy girl, who like many teens her age, struggles with the trials and tribulations of attending high school. The difference is she’s a centaur; but she’s not alone. In fact, all of her classmates are supernatural creatures, sporting either horns, wings, tails, halos, or some other unearthly body appendage. Yet despite their fantastical natures, Himeno and her best friends-the dragon-winged Nozomi, and Kyoko with her spiraled horns-are down-to-earth, fun-loving teenagers who grapple with issues of life and love in a mostly normal daily school setting.

Keyman is the resident hero of Rockville City, a place inhabited by both humans and animal people. In the years since his debut as a hero, crime has decreased significantly, which does not look all that great for the local police force. But one day, after he catches yet another group of criminals, Keyman is mysteriously murdered. Detective Alex and his police force are investigating the murder, and one of their major clues is the words "Dr. Necro," which were carved onto Keyman's body after his death. Their case gets even stranger when Alex unexpectedly meets "Dr. Necro", who appears to be a young girl, in a bar. What monster could be behind the murder of Keyman, and what does the childlike Dr. Necro have to do with it all?
