This novel depicts the process of main characters Gong Seong-Hyeon and Chung Tae-Gyeong finding true love. Raised by parents in a loveless marriage, Gong Seong-Hyeong has a pessimistic view of love and marriage and only has superficial relationships. Meanwhile, love columnist Chung Tae-Gyeong sees love as a matter of "give and take" and gives love advice to others, but hasn't been able to find true love for himself.
