The story of the daily life and culinary experiments of a praying mantis girl, Akiyama, and her friends.

Chise Nakamura, a high school teacher who loves her students but hates insects, is troubled by her dislike of her new mushin-chu (insect-people) students. One day, after school, Nakamura gets a visit from Akiyama, a mantis-girl... to her surprise, Akiyama wants to help her start an "insect cooking club"! A comedy about a bug-hating teacher x insect girls cooking up their own kind!
