The four-panel comedy manga's story centers on Miyako Hoshino, a shy college student and otaku. Miyako's younger sister Hinata, who is a fifth grader, has a classmate and friend named Hana. When they meet, Miyako falls for Hana at first sight.

Hinata Hoshino, Hana Shirosaki, and Noa Himesaka are off to the countryside for a camping trip. At Hinata's behest, her elder sister, Miyako, reluctantly tags along. Seeing how gloomy Miyako is, the trio do their best to get her to enjoy herself too.

Besides the camping trip, Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita! Special contains three more short stories of the girls. Although their lives seem normal, one thing is certain: there is definitely no shortage of cuteness here!

The sketch comedy about becoming friends with super cute girls is headed for the big screen! Good friends Hana, Hinata, Noa, Koyori, and Kanon are once again having a fun snack party at home with Miyako’s homemade sweets. They notice that the flower-shaped cookies look just like Hana’s trademark hair clip, a treasured item that was given to her by her grandmother when she was little. The girls get excited to learn about the story, so they decide to visit grandma’s house. The curtain rises on everyone’s first trip together!
