Ginji Matsuzaki is the acting wakagashira (underboss) of Washimine Group. He is currently working as a street stall vendor, but was formerly an assassin nicknamed &quot;Hitokiri Ginji&quot; (Manslayer Ginji) due to his use of a katana in combat. His skills in its use are exceptional, manifesting themselves in such feats as cleaving bullets in two in midflight. Coupled with his ability to evade gunfire from multiple foes, Ginji almost completely eschews the use of firearms.    Ginji had protected Yukio for a long time and hoped that she would live out her life normally despite her family&#039;s criminal background. He seems to regret his past as a murderer, but is willing to take up arms again for those he cares for. He is killed by Revy in a prearranged duel after he and Yukio realize they can&#039;t defeat Balalaika and the rest of Hotel Moscow.    It is interesting to note that although Revy calls Ginji &quot;Jumbo&quot; because of his height, the name &quot;Jumbo&quot; may also refer to Takeshi Takeda (AKA &quot;Jumbo&quot;) from the Yotsuba&amp;! manga series with whom he shares an uncanny appearance.

Anthony Lester is the Captain of a special force squad, and is now the SPK&#039;s number 2 and its operation leader. 

He can be seen as [Near's](https://anilist.co/character/464/Nate-River) guardian and personal assistant, similarly to what [Watari](https://anilist.co/character/2179/Quillsh-Wammy) was to [L](https://anilist.co/character/71/L-Lawliet). He is an extremely honest person who has Near's complete trust, to the point he's comfortable with revealing some of his thought and plans to Lester. Lester also helps Near with actions he is not used to doing, such as booking a flight on a plane. He is often called "Commander Lester", and he is unable to match Near in intelligence and analytic skill despite being very intelligent himself. Nevertheless, being trustworthy, athletic, and a quiet person make him very useful to assist Near. 

Raye Penber is an American Investigator from the FBI, who was sent to Japan along with 11 other FBI agents to track down Kira. Raye was assigned to investigate the Yagami family for any suspicious behavior; specifically focusing on [Light Yagami](https://anilist.co/character/80/Light-Yagami). Raye is engaged to a former FBI agent, [Naomi Misora](https://anilist.co/character/4959/Naomi-Misora).

Anime/Manga Season 1:  The number one Dragon Drive player in the world, and Reiji&#039;s biggest rival. He was recruited by RI-ON as a soldier, but doesn&#039;t seem to care for anybody or anything. His true intentions are unknown, and Reiji is the only person he sees any interest in. He later defects from RI-ON to pursue Reiji with the intention of challenging him to a showdown. He is the reigning superchampion.     Manga Season 2:  Having stayed behind in Rikyu since the last world crisis, he has been training himself for his showdown with Reiji. At Meguru&#039;s request, he returned to Earth to do two things:(1) open the portal that would lead the Raikou-ou masters into Rikyu, and (2)return Chibi to Reiji.     Manga only:  Later on he is recruited by RI-ON as a soldier, but he does not care for anybody or anything, especially the battle between RI-ON and the Dragon Drive world. His true intentions were unknown.    Soon after he defects from RI-ON to follow Reiji during the search for Shinsaber with the intention of dueling Reiji one on one to see who is superior. He would follow Reiji even if it means going through a haunted house or passing a trial to determine who owns the right to Shinsaber. 

Domyouji Tsukasa is the leader of the F4. At the beginning of the series, he is Makino's biggest enemy, but as the story progresses, he becomes her love interest.  Tsukasa is the heir to Domyouji Enterprises, and his family is extremely rich. They own various houses around the world, including an actual island, a house in Canada, and a house in New York City where his parents stay.  Domyouji grew up somewhat lonely, as his parents were always overseas, and his sister—as loving as she could be—was either busy studying or, later in life, married and moved to Los Angeles. Also, his mother, Kaede, is cold to him, and although she loves him, wants to control his life. Tsukasa sometimes calls her "the old hag" and "witch".  Before he met Makino, he was violent and ill-tempered, but after he became loyal and nice.   As Tsukasa first started off being hard and tough to get though to;  the author Hana Yori Dango showed us though out the anime and reading the manga that any one who or started off being hard can also find there soft side for love and that is shown though Tsuksa Domyouji.

Byakuya (白夜?) is Naraku&#039;s ninth and final detachment, meant to replace Kagura. His main purpose is to observe InuYasha and Mōryōmaru&#039;s growing powers and report back to Naraku. He has an incredible power to create illusions, but has many other powers as well: he can possess people with paper soldiers, summon vines to entrap his enemies, teleport others to different dimensions, detach organs from his body, and erect barriers. He travels on a giant origami paper crane.     ~!After taking the power of one slash of InuYasha&#039;s Meidou Zangetsuha, he later slashes Kagome with the blade. However, before he gets a chance at a second strike, InuYasha attacks him with his Meidou Zangetsuha and Byakuya is absorbed into it. When Naraku dies, a Meidou appears behind Kagome, due to Byakuya&#039;s Meidou Blade.!~

Junko's boyfriend who currently shares an apartment with her. He's also good friends with Hachi and Shouji. His laid-back attitude to life may deem him a slacker in the eyes of many, but he's actually quite perceptive and he coddles Hachi more than Junko would like. Both him and Junko are studying to become artists (his art being Romantic and hers being Post-Modernistic).

Yuuichiro is Netto&#039;s father, and is also the creater of Rockman. ^_^ He is known as a very intelligent and valued Scientist, whom works at the Science Labs, but also travels around the world continuesly. Because of his job, he does not get to see his family very much, but he keeps them very much close at heart.     As the series progresses into Axess, Yuuichirou is more often found at the Science Labs, as he develops research on the Dimensional Areas and Cross Fusion. Thus, he becomes much more of a common character past this point. He&#039;s often found working alongside a good friend, Meijin Eguchi (Mr. Famous).   

The General of the Shaorin army. Part of the Ran family, one of the two greatest clans. The fourth oldest of five brothers. A very skilled swordsman and is usually calm, but likes to tease others. He was supposed to be guarding the Emperor with Kouyuu, but since Ryuuki was nowhere to be found, he and Kouyuu were left in the library for a month being bored.    He claims to be Kouyuu&#039;s best friend, though Kouyuu keeps denying it. Shuuei is usually the one that gets Kouyuu all riled up by mentioning things like his lack of direction and his woman-hating ideals. Unlike Kouyuu, Shuuei is a womanizer. He often mentions how nice it is to spend time with women and was seen surrounded by a horde of women after winning the fighting tournament. A ronin, haunted by his terrible past, has sworn to keep his sword sheathed. However upon meeting Kotaro he finds himself re-evaluating his life. Whilst traveling with the young Kotaro, Nanashi finds himself acting as a bodyguard for the boy. This in turn leads to his prolonged struggle against Raro.

Kazunao Yamada takes no interest in the personal lives of his students and is very apathetic. He has no motivation to work hard and only shows interest in Bishoujo style games and cheap food. He also enjoys teasing his students.

A Go professional 9-dan and student of Touya Kouyo. He first took notice of Hikaru when the latter explained a go move during a children&#039;s tournament that even professional Go players would take some time to see (which was actually Sai&#039;s doing) and later, as the rivalry between Hikaru and Akira emerged, catalyzed its development for several times, such as helping Hikaru to be accepted into the Insei test and occasionally reporting Hikaru&#039;s progress to an uninterested and disillusioned Akira. After the Net game between Touya Kouyo and Sai, Ogata also became obsessed with playing Sai and constantly nagged Hikaru. Unbeknownst to him, his request was finally granted just before Sai disappeared, during a game with Hikaru when he was too drunk to notice Sai was playing.     

Ogata is one of the best young Go pros of Japan, having been the challenger for many titles throughout the series and finally winning the Gosei and Judan titles when Touya Kouyo retires. He&#039;s frequently after the Honinbo title Kuwabara currently holds and this sparks a rivalry between them.

Toshiro Hijikata is the famed chain smoking, vice commander of the Shinsengumi so named by his subordinates, because of his fearsome demeanor. Purportedly the brains behind the force, he takes his work seriously, and is fiercely loyal to his leader, [Isao Kondo](https://anilist.co/character/2943). Hijikata has a reputation as a fearsome leader, earning the nickname of "demonic vice-commander". He is also hot-tempered and often speaks of seppuku. However, despite his cold exterior, he does have a more compassionate side. He also has a tendency to cry after watching movies that are not particularly emotional.

Hijikata is obsessed with mayonnaise and thus has the nickname "Mayora". He has been known to smother anything he eats under a mountain of mayonnaise, and he carries a number of objects shaped like jars of mayonnaise, such as his cigarette lighter. He was popular with girls until they discovered this obsession.

He enjoys fighting and sees [Gintoki Sakata](https://anilist.co/character/672) as a rival in practically everything he does from drinking contests to rock, paper, scissors ever since being defeated by him in battle. He is in constant danger of being killed by the attempts on his life by [Sougo Okita](https://anilist.co/character/2282). But, despite all this, he sees Sougo as one of his close friends, and vice versa. Before joining Shinsengumi, he used to be a troublemaker ronin. He enjoys fighting/having a good fight and says he doesn't care how many Amanto buildings get blown up, he only looks forward to having a big battle with the Joui rebels after Shinsengumi has rounded them in 1 fell swoop, in episode 5. He also formulated the Kyokuchuu Hatto, the 45 Regulations that form the disciplinary framework for Shinsengumi members, and implements them firmly.

A mysterious boy assisting Alejandro Corner. He, like Tieria and Nena, seems to also be able to interface with Veda, his eyes glowing with a rainbow-ish, digital hue when he does so.     After the end of season 1,  ~!He has now taken control of Veda and now has plans for the world he Envisions with Innovator.!~

A character appearing in the epilogue of the movie. He is a colleague and close friend of Aeolia Schenberg.   He's also the base model for Ribbons-Type (0026) Innovades like Ribbons Almark, Sky Eclipse, Beside Pain and many others.

Emilio is the deceased lover of Sumeragi Lee Noriega (Leesa Kujo). He was a pilot in the AEU military under Leesa's command before his death.
