Claude is a contractor who works for The Syndicate and was sent to capture Yin, appearing in Darker Than Black Gaiden.    ~!When Hei first meets Claude, he puts Hei and Yin under an illusion, so to them he looks like Amber. Yin notices this, and after seeing Hei talking with the woman, and later feeling distant from him, Yin makes use of her observation spirit that night. Although Hei had woken up and stopped her from doing anything drastic, Yin saw enough to be able to say that the woman was not Amber, but was indeed a Contractor. Realizing he was found out, Claude kidnaps Yin that night.   The next day, as Hei was checking out of the inn, he heard from the manager that the person who looked like Amber was actually a man. Realizing that the woman he had seen was an illusion, Hei ran back to his room only to find Yin gone. He was able to track down Yin in a warehouse. He was then attacked by the Amber look-a-like. Hei is saved when Claude suddenly turns the gun around and shoots himself in the head, with Yin&rsquo;s observation spirit appearing behind him. Hei was then able to kill most of the rest of Yin&rsquo;s captors and save her. Unbeknownst to him, the person who looked like Amber wasn&rsquo;t dead and instead talked to a certain dog Hei saw earlier about Yin&rsquo;s hastened evolution and how she will soon be uncontrollable by anyone, including Hei.   Claude&#039;s core ability is mind control. He can also control what people see, putting them under illusions. He was even able to trick Hei into thinking he was Amber. Mizuhara Makoto is scientifically gifted. In the series, he creates a machine in the science lab to be on display at the start of the school's cultural festival, but when his rival Jinnai sabotages it, it creates a portal to a alternative world called El Hazard, where he'll lots of incredible adventures... and new lovers.

Kensuke Aida is an otaku, a military buff, Toji&#039;s best friend, and one of the &quot;Other Children,&quot; Eva pilot candidates in the same class as Shinji, Toji, Rei, Asuka, and Hikari. His hobbies include camping in the mountains surrounding Tokyo-3 and playing at simulated war reenacting - by himself. Kensuke solidifies his friendship with Shinji after Shinji saves him and Toji during the fight against the fourth Angel, Shamshel. Kensuke dreams of becoming an Eva pilot and ceaselessly begs Shinji to pull strings in NERV so he can be selected as a pilot, despite Shinji telling him that he has no say in the matter. He also seems oblivious to the intense physical and psychological duress endured by Eva pilots. Nevertheless, Kensuke enjoys the privileges of being the friend of an Eva pilot; he and Toji accompany Shinji on the excursion to the UN combined naval fleet during the transportation of Unit 02. Like presumably every one of Shinji&#039;s classmates, Kensuke&#039;s mother is deceased. Like Toji, Kensuke has a crush on Misato Katsuragi. He is rarely seen without his camcorder at hand.

_Kensuke is named after a main character in the novel The Fascism of Love and Fantasies (Ai to Gensou no Fascism) by Ryu Murakami. He is also similar in appearance to the character Jean, from Hideaki Anno&#039;s earlier anime Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water._

A childhood friend of Clay's. Trapp is the product of a bandit family. He is very agile and quick-witted. When a battle starts he shows his natural sense in full by slipping away to safety with amazing speed. Very realistic and shrewd unlike other members of the Group, his sharp-tongue often bothers the others. He's excellent at sling-shot.

The second Seishi. He is a brash teenage boy, but also naive and shy. He wanted to earn some money for his family, and so went out looking for bounties... none other than Rimudo! His first meeting with Takiko was taking her hostage to use as bait to lure out Rimudo... at Takiko's suggestion. She later tries to escape, but he stops her and Tomite's mother steps in. Tomite is more or less made to protect Takiko, but he doesn't mind too much.

Tomite is a skilled archer, capable of speed and accuracy. His true power lies in his ability to manipulate ice, but he is reluctant to showcase his abilities because of what onlookers may think, so it's something he only uses in dire situations but from what has been seen, it's clear that his power is profound. The very first time his power manifested he was fifteen, and his mother had just been hurt by monsters attacking the tribe. He doesn't remember much of it and put the blame of what happened on Hikitsu, until Hikitsu forces him to relive the memory. According to the original Fushigi Yuugi, he was also able to produce rings of energy that would contrict around enemies, cutting them in half. No examples of this power have been seen in the Genbu Kaiden yet.

At his core, Tomite is a somewhat awkward, silly teenage boy. He had a small crush on Takiko, but backed off once he realised it was not reciprocated. At first he was confused and rather hurt by her seemingly one-sided infatuation with Rimudo (who was regularily threatening to kill her, much less did he show any interest in her) but as Takiko and Rimudo's relationship has steadied, he seems mostly content to do his best for Takiko by being a strong and devout Seishi.


One of the older students, the lack of influence he has on the storyline is occasionally used as a gag. 

He is madly in love with Weda, but never gets to prove his love, usually resulting in a comedic attempt to hang himself.

Age 16, Asuka Tachibana is a member of HOLY. Tachibana has a sweet demeanor when he's not fighting, but when conflict arises he becomes stern and professional. Early in the series, a bitter but unrequited rivalry with Kazuma rises after he is embarrassed by Kazuma during his escape from HOLD headquarters and a subsequent battle in which he is almost effortlessly defeated. When the two are later trapped in an underground cave, he is given new insight into the ideals of the native Alters from Kazuma.  ~!After settling their rivalry with one last battle, in which Kazuma again emerges victorious, he decides to make a living as a broker, helping to merge the poor and metropolis. He had a fiance named Cammy, but left her behind when he disappeared from HOLY. She appears before him again in episode 25 and they start to live together.!~      Asuka's Alter is "Eternity Eight" or the "Eight Treasure Balls", eight small emerald orbs that act as an extension of his will. One of the most versatile Alters in the series, his Eternity Eight can arrange themselves in different patterns and form various energy constructs: a sword, a shield, a platform to ride on, and so forth. They can also be used in singular form for precise actions. Asuka can control the minds of living beings using his Eternity Eight by attaching the orbs to his targets, although some Alter users can resist this effect by force of will. A friend of the Oni-Baku since their Midnight Angel days, he runs the Sato family garage and repair shop. He first appears to tell Eikichi that his car design won&rsquo;t win the exhibition, and gets taken hostage by Yokokawa until his KS Benz is repaired. He later appears in the Akutsu affair, and at various other times when someone needs a bike fixed, or Onizuka wants to use Masaki&rsquo;s ZII.    Wikipedia

The main character. Kaihei is a boy who becomes the chairman of St. Luminous after his grandfather's death. He has a gentle, conciliating personality.

Senkawa is a normal high school student who accidentally gets killed by Birdy wile exploring an abandoned building with his friend Natsumi.  He is then merged with his killer while his body is repaired. Conveniently, his parents are gone on a business trip.

The teenage son and heir of the rich Lafale Corporation.  His father is paying Eva Durix to work on Dural.  Leon is headstrong and hates being cooped up and forced to train to be his father&#039;s successor.  He meets Akira in Europe and is impressed by his martial arts skill and his independence.  He is very skilled in the Crane technique of martial arts (lijaka).

The holder of the Millennium Rod. Marik's family has guarded the tomb of the pharaoh for generations. He attempts to obtain the three God Cards through his secret organization, GHOULS, and become Pharaoh himself. Marik seeks to send the Pharaoh's soul into the darkness in which he had to spend his childhood.
