Represents the Naraka Realm (Hell Realm), has a little fire-spitting-demon pet by her side at all times that converts to a full sized demon when Hinata can't suppress her Naraka bosatsu. Later in the series, when Ikkou is on the verge of awakening she often commands her demon to burn him, often successfully preventing him from awakening while others times it seems for the hell of it. She is Sakura's younger sister. She appears very calm and rarely speaks. Her hobby is collecting and studying haniwa, and there is an episode in the second season devoted to the Haniwa Research Club which she joins - the school's smallest club.

She is Junichi's childhood friend who, despite having a big appetite, avidly reads the dieting books in their school library. She is a member of the Tea-Making Society.   Riihoko's arc is the 5th in the Anime.    ~!Her ending in the game. Best End: Tachibana spends Christmas with her. He tells her that he always took their relationship for granted but now, it's different. They share a deep, passionate kiss. Many years later in college, Tachibana buys her a cream pastry (her favorite food). Inside it, there's a ring (part of her story, a made up myth about proposing with food and being happy forever). She accepts. They've always been together and always will be.  Good End: Tachibana spends the school Christmas festival with Rihoko. He hugs and realizes how much she means to him. The next year, he joins the tea club but it's closed due to lack of members. Despite all this, she's with Tachibana and that's all that matters.  Normal End: She wakes Tachibana up while in bed by jumping in his bed and going underneath the blanket. The silly stuff reminds her of their childhood and the time they spent together. That will not change.  Bad End: Tachibana begs forgiveness from Rihoko for standing her up on the Christmas date. Rihoko is sick with a cold, but tells him she was never angry at Tachibana and never can be. They repeatedly kiss (Rihoko tells him he might catch the cold). A little while later, Tachibana begs Rihoko to punish him. She makes him eat an all you can eat ice cream parfait. He faints and Rihoko smiles. They'll be best friends forever.  In Rihoko's Bad End, before going to the restaurant, Tachibana asks for Rihoko's forgiveness since he ditches her on Christmas and she gets sick waiting for him. Tachibana meets her while she's sick with a cold and kisses her over and over. She tells him she was never angry at him to begin with and that he'll get sick if he keeps kissing her.  --Ignored Epilogue are epilogue if you ignore her. She becomes a TV idol. Tachibana is hurt because he's her childhood friend yet she never tells you about it. (It was implied in episode 19 in the anime where she hums her ending song.) Takeya's little sister, who has been away overseas. She cozies up to Ren at first, but after hearing Ren refer to herself as Takeya's "slave", she starts to hate Ren, and pummels her big brother for "being a pervert". This is a significant change from the stereotypical "cute little sister" character prevalent in anime.

Milfeulle Sakuraba is a young girl of 17 who often exhibits great cheerfulness and altruism, not to mention luck. She first worked as a waitress at a beach side cafe before joining the military. Highly skilled in cooking, she prepares meals and snacks for the other Angels, but especially enjoys baking desserts. Milfeulle's most prominent attribute is her incredible luck. She has shown to have a knack for finding long-lost and valuable items, such as hoards of treasure or a winning lottery ticket. Chisa is Kirino's best friend. She has a small crow familiar that stays on her shoulder named Jinta.  ~! Unknown to everyone (until a certain point in the series), though, she is in fact a witch that often flies around on her broomstick handing away "Fake Gifts". She eventually returns her "powers" back to her mother.!~

A girl whose only trait is that she is completely ordinary (relative to her classmates); however, she takes offense at being called &quot;normal,&quot; which she considers boring and undesirable. Although it has not been referenced in the present, she attended elementary school with Kafuka, who may have been the first person to call her normal. In the planning stages of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, she was originally planned to be the heroine.

Sae is an upperclassman and good friends with Hiro. In the anime version, she has a younger sister, Chika.   Her artistic specialties are photography and fiction writing; she writes fiction professionally under the pseudonym "Aya Tachibana" and enrolled at the school specifically so she could learn how to illustrate her own work.   Sae, who is tall, athletic, and generally mature, has a playful side that can be at the same time enigmatic and cunning; she has a habit of giving Yuno just enough warning about potential problems for the younger girl to fail to avoid them.   She also has a fondness for playing detective when faced with such anomalies as Miyako's apartment. She tends to get upset when Miyako refers to her as having masculine qualities. She also gets very uncomfortable when asked about her love life, frequently inventing a history for herself that even cursory examination would show to be absurd, while blushing furiously.   Sae is also very shy about her feelings towards her friends and especially her sister. She is much more comfortable chiding and scolding her little sister, Chika, whenever she comes to visit. However when she expresses genuine concern for her sister, her face will turn beet-red.

She was introduce in ep. 5 as the eccentric  president of the school's newspaper club called "Miryuu Academy Times", for some unknown reasons she develops a delusion for Shougo.

A girl who Shinkurō lived with when he was young and also his sparring partner. Her soft demeanor (albeit with yandere tendencies, triggered by other girls approaching Shinkurō) hides the fact that she is a strong fighter, whom Shinkurō acknowledges to be much stronger than himself, despite her being older by just one year. Yūno is upset that Shinkurō has not realized he was her first love. Even now, she still has feelings for Shinkurō, always finding excuses to spend time with him, such as cooking meals for him. However, her advances tend to be very threatening (most likely because Shinkurō always has another girl with him) and scare him into just letting her hear what she wants. Yūno resents the decision Shinkurō made in deciding to move out her household to live on his own and fears he will change into a hooligan. She has made it very clear that she wants him back in the Hōzuki household. Yūno has a younger sister named Chizuru, who is five, who also has a crush on Shinkurō. Even though the Hōzuki family are no longer assassins, their grandfather expects Yūno and Chizuru to carry on the Hōzuki family martial arts.    In the anime, Yūno is much more assertive in her advances towards Shinkurō and does not appear to have the yandere tendencies. 

She is an automaton who works for the Honda family in Mikawa. She handles the daily needs of both Tadakatsu Honda and his daughter Futayo, and also serves as Futayo’s fighting instructor.
