A first year student and Yutaka's friend and classmate, who she affectionally calls Miporin. She is also a fan of Tooru, though not quite to the extremes of Yutaka.

Junichi Tachibana is the lead male protagonist of the story. He has a hard time opening up to others due to trauma two years ago when his date stood him up on Christmas Eve, leaving him heartbroken. In the anime, he has acrophobia, which is referenced several times.

Aroe is a young girl whose hair is made of Aloe, which does not benefit her as she often requires water. Aroe does not often make direct contact with the other characters in the anime and her appearances are often a side story--although she encountered them at the final scene of the final episode.  Aroe&#039;s Aloe made hair, bursts many of her vinyl wading pools due to its sharpness. The little sister that Santa brought to Haruma. She is sweet and very innocent, all her knowledge of the world initially derived from an instruction manual she was given before her delivery to Haruma&#039;s home. Apparently the manual does not cover all situations and it is not really written for someone of Choco&#039;s level of experience. Some of the information is even quite inappropriate for someone of her age... Tsuyuri is a dōjin artist, and creates her dōjinshi under the name Bloomer Girl (ブルマ子, Burumako). She is the only member of her dōjin circle which she named Panty Revolution. Her dōjinshi mainly consists of rape manga.  Personality-wise she is calm, clever and a bit selfish, but above all, she is very mischievous and most of the funny situations that her friends end up in are her doing.

A playful pair of twin sisters who make a two-girl singing sensation. Ami and Mami both enjoy doing impressions and teasing their friends, though Mami seems to somewhat be a little more mature than Ami (even though she is technically the younger one). The only way to tell the two girls apart is through their hairstyles -- Ami tying her hair to the right, Mami to the left -- otherwise, they are completely identical. They use this fact by switching their hairstyles and both performing as idols (underneath Ami's name). The only people privy to the fact that Ami is actually a pair of twins are the insiders of 765 Production. 

The young princess from the country of Havoniwa, currently attending school along with Lashara. She and Lashara are cousins, but they are not fond of each other and attempt to engage in constant one-upmanship. She is very close to her servant Yukine, and is rarely seen without the latter. Maria is the daughter of Flora, and along with Lashara is frequently embarassed by her mother&#039;s antics. She figures out early on that Kenshi is the pilot of the white sekijin, and often plots to make Kenshi marry Yukine, so Maria can claim ownership of him. Maria is very bad at manual labor, and often sits under an umbrella with Lashara while others work around them, and complains about how tire she is, even though she does no work at all. Her cooking skills are equally bad, as evidenced during her participation during the pot-dish battle, since she always has servants who cook for her.     ~!After the fall of Havoniwa&#039;s palace, Queen Flora puts Maria in charge of government matters in order to give her experience for her eventual rise to the throne. Just before the battle to retake the Holy Land, Queen Flora and King Shurifon conspire to have Kenshi marry Aura and Maria, which flusters Maria into speechlessness.!~

A student at Oxford Academy and the famous writer in England. She is an elf and owner of the mortal sin armament Aspida Philargia. Having a history with Toussaint, she challenges him during the Musashi's incursion on England, not only forcing him to retreat but afflicting him with the spell "Curse of Macbeth" that would force him to kill Aoi just as Macbeth from Shakespeare's play of the same name killed his king. During their rematch, Toussaint not only manages to defeat Thomas and lift the curse, but also to confiscate Aspida Philargia from her.

Sun is an enthusiastic girl, with a large appetite. She often makes Forte bake or buy her food. One of her favorite hobbies is making Forte cross-dress. She does this by either tricking him, or by forcing him.

Forte and Sun are both examinees in the Magic Exam. When they learn that Nina has accidentally swallowed the Crystal Pearl, they kidnap her, planning to keep her for the remainder of the exams. While Sun was enjoying time with Nina, both of them eating cake together, Forte was complaining about having to watch over her for so long. When Sun heard this, she suggested they kill Nina and then extract the pearl.

Sun and Forte constantly go after Nina in attempts to get the pearl, but they always fail. Although Sun intends on killing Nina, she seems rather friendly towards Nina, and thinks of the exam as a game. Sun also seems to be rather good friends with Zero. She was rather pleased when they were paired together for the Kimodameshi, and the two seem to have a rather friendly relationship throughout the series.

In the sequel, Modotte! Mamotte! Lollipop we learn that two years after Zero and Ichii passed the exam, that Sun and Forte passed as well. They are now contestants in the Advanced Magical Exams. When they realize that Nina has once again swallowed the item needed to pass the exams, they plan to capture her, though this time they don't intend on killing her. Instead, they explain that they will keep her in a giant bird cage until the end of the exam. Sun, Forte, and the other contestants join Nina's school to keep an eye on her and collect shards of the Crystal Drop when they get the chance. They play a rather minor role in the rest of the series.

 ~!Ever since she was a child, Sun Sherard has had extraordinary powers. When her mother, Saria fell ill, Sun was blamed, and people began to say she was cursed. They believed that if Sun was kept away from her mother, that Saria would become well again, and so Sun wasn't allowed to see Saria.
When he first met Sun, something about her bothered Forte, and so when she ran off, he went after her. Sun didn't understand why he had come to see her, and so he explained that he wanted to be her friend. This surprised her, though she was willing to play with him. After getting yelled at by her grandfather for seeing her mother, Sun goes into the forest with Forte, where she tells him she is cursed, and that it is her fault her mother is sick. She tells him that her mother had told her to keep smiling, and that she would get better if Sun just kept doing that. Though she wondered why her mother wasn't getting any better. Forte didn't have the heart to tell her the truth, and so he just sat there and held her hand.

Eventually, Saria passed, and Forte met up with Sun at the funeral. Sun looked happy, as if nothing had happened. When Forte asked her if she was alright, she seemed to be clueless as to what he was talking about. This disgusted many people, and they whispered about how Sun was cursed. Forte was angered by this, and so he yelled at them all, telling them that she was not cursed. He then grabbed Sun's hand and ran off with her into the woods. There, he told her it was okay to cry in front of him, and to only smile when she was having fun. He said that he knew her heart, and that he would always be beside her. Sun then burst into tears, mourning over her mother. On the 17th of July, Sun always goes to visit her mother's grave in the magical world, as it is the anniversary of her mother's death.

Near the end of the series, Al tricks them and the other contestants into coming to the magical world. When they figure out the exams have been canceled, they plan on going to find Zero and Ich&icirc; and helping them retrieve the Stardust Stone, so that the exams may continue. In the end, they once again fail the exams. We don't ever find out if Sun and Forte ever pass the exams, but we can assume that they do.

In the epilogue of the first series, Forte is set up in an arranged marriage with Rokka by his grandfather. When Sun hears this, she breaks in to the marriage meeting. She then ruins the marriage meeting by sending Step Cats everywhere. Forte calls her an idiot, and tells her that Grandfather will not forgive them, though he is smiling and seems somewhat amused when he says this. So Sun and Forte end up together, though it is unknown if they get married, since it is never stated. !~

When she makes a discovery about the world she quickly and proudly points it out to the other girls, however she is generally the last to discover such things and becomes disappointed when others learn faster than she does. Momoko is Yumi's friend, and a high school first year student. She has a lacking presence, and is often ignored by her friends despite her efforts to gain attention; as such, she soon gave up on building relationships with other people. After a match through LAN mahjong, Yumi acknowledges Momoko's skills and finds her; the two become friends afterwards. Her mahjong playing ability comes when she augments her negative presence into an advantageous stealth state, causing her opponents to miss her moves.

Kuga's perpetually expressionless face and bizarre behavior suggest a morose, perhaps sinister character, but rather than depressed, withdrawn, or morbid, she is in fact playful, mischievous, and jocular (and occasionally morbid). A Genuine Resemble (gynoid) with green hair and green eyes. She does not remember anything from before her first meeting with Roy. After indirectly saving Roy's life (and then directly once again), she takes up residence with and is later adopted by him, causing her to take the surname Revant. Possessing a cheerful, helpful personality, she generally spends time cooking or performing housework for Roy, and later, Rose. She is naive and takes every opportunity that presents itself. Her construction allows for a number of superhuman abilities, including high resistance to injury, greatly enhanced strength and speed, and the ability to resonate her fists to disintegrate objects. Her first name comes from one of Roy's old records, "Solty Rock". 

As the fifth of the five Shishido sisters, the intelligence inherited from Kagura draws the attention of many universities and serves Sakura well in designing new space colonies as well as being a general handyman as evidenced by her martial arts robot bodyguard Mr. Black Belt and several other repair jobs that she prosecutes over the course of the series. The gibberish that Sakura uses when describing and explaining things is actually a customized language that Sakura has developed. Considering that Nami is the only Shishido sibling that cannot interpret it, this customized language is most likely QT energy waves channeled through her alien partner Yuupitan whose dormancy state is as her hat and scarf. While Yuupitan can move about on his own, he is quite content to act as an extra pair of hands at Sakura&#039;s very frequent request in return for Sakura transporting him.

Nazuna is Souta's younger sister. She is very mature for her age and is already almost as tall as Souta even though she is only in elementary school. While a genuinely kind and caring person, she will manipulate other people to get her way.
