Kiki's father; according to Miyazaki he is a professor of folklore. He has no magic lineage. He met Kiki's mother when they were both young; when she came to his town on her traditional witch training leave. According to character designer Katsuya Kondo he depicted Okino's appearance on actors David McCallum and Akira Terao.

Takeshi appeared primarily as an opponent to Satoshi in his debut episode; unlike later Gym Leaders, he requested to join Satoshi on his journey, aiming to be the world's greatest Pokémon Breeder.

Takeshi mainly provides an advisory role to the other main characters of the anime, being several years older than the rest of them. His knowledge of Pokémon battles is great, causing him to often referee matches between Satoshi and others. Takeshi also fancies himself as something of a ladies' man, though each time he hits on someone he is either rejected outright; pulled away by Kasumi or Masato; or, more recently, Poison Jabbed by his Gureggru.

While Brock was at Professor Ivy's lab, Ash and Misty land on Tangelo Island and meet this young man, Tracey. He is a Pokemon Watcher and is also a very big fan of Professor Oak. Knowing that Ash and Misty are close to Professor Oak, Tracey decides to tag along with Ash as the crew travels the Orange Islands. Only after the Orange Islands adventure, Tracey decided to stay in Pallet Town and be Professor Oak's assistant.

The mysterious spirit of the stage. He is invisible to everyone but those who are destined to do great things on the stage and/or whose heart is completely dedicated to the stage. He appears to Sora shortly before she appears on the Kaleido Stage for the first time.

Fool is a pervert who tries many times throughout the series to see Sora, and sometimes her friends, naked. Sora is quick to prevent Fool's advances in any given situation by trapping him somewhere or rebuking him forcefully, most often in a slapstick fashion.

In his more useful moments, he acts as a fortune teller, revealing possible futures to Sora. In the first season he reads the future from tarot cards, and in the second season he reads and reveals the hidden workings of intercharacter relationships via astrology.

~!Later in the first season, Layla becomes capable of seeing Fool as well; the same happens to Rosetta at the end of the second season, who takes his advice more seriously than Sora, most of the time where Sora can tell he is only doing so to satisfy his perversion.!~
