As a First Lieutenant, he holds the position of operations commander of the Eighty-Sixth Strike Package and its 1st Armored Division should Shin be deemed unfit to command. His Personal Name is Wehrwolf. Having survived four years on the Eastern Front and the Special Reconnaissance Mission, he is considered one of the most elite Processors alive. As he spent three years with Shin prior to joining Spearhead Squadron, Raiden is the closest person to him in the squadron.

He was raised by his abusive uncle and aunt after his family were killed in a car crash. The abuse he endured resulted in him trying to commit suicide by throwing himself from a tower block, but he was saved by [Nasse](https://anilist.co/character/89232).

The captain of the Karasuno High volleyball club.

The son of the owners of the Aoi Bakery in the 24th Ward. He is very athletic and works out every day. He used to be the hero known as Mr. 24, that protected his city, but now he is busy baking bread to help out the family business. 

Ran and Koki is his friends from childhood.

An engineer who works at the local multipurpose workshop Otaki Factory. A so-called prodigy, he is versed in many skills including building and programming robots, but is an oddball who has trouble interacting with people. After investigating a vacant European-style house, he became wrapped up in the fight against Godzilla.

Nicolo is a former Marleyan soldier who served on Marley's Navy and was part of the first survey fleet to Paradis Island after the failed Paradis Island Operation. After being taken captive, he begins working on the island as a chef for the military.

Niccolo was at first a very typical Marleyan, fearing the Eldians of Paradis Island and calling them devils. He was very disgusted with having been captured by them and having to live by their side, but after spending a lot of time with the Survey Corps, he and his comrades have developed grudging respect and shaky friendships with the ones they once thought of as devils. He notably grew a soft spot for a Survey Corp member, [Sasha Blouse](https://anilist.co/character/45887/Sasha-Blouse), after she complimented him on his cooking skills. Over time, the two gradually grew closer, enough for [Kaya](https://anilist.co/character/132738/Kaya) to believe they were in love. Niccolo credits Sasha with saving him from the war and teaching him that he can cook to make people happy.



Main protagonist. Taku, needing money for the school's trip to Hawaii, took his restaurant busboy job to offset the expense, at the cost of falling grades and his teachers'; disapproval. He voiced his disapproval of cancelling the school trip in front of the whole school.  Is there when Rikako plans to go to Tokyo, lends her money for the tickets (although he didn't know of her plans). He likes Rikako but tries not to show his feelings knowing how Yutaka feels about her, also. On their trip to Tokyo, he sort of falls in love with the city and plans to enroll in Tokyo Univesity after graduating from high school.

Pina (ピナ, Pina) is a recurring character in Beastars. He appeared as a first-year student and a new actor in the drama club at Cherryton Academy.

Spotted hyena who is part of the canine room 701 with Legoshi. He plays electric guitar with a vulture in a band called "The Leftovers".

The main protagonist of the series. Mash is a first-year student at Easton Magic Academy and member of Adler dorm. He has the peculiarity of not possessing any magic but also has inhuman strength which makes him a standout in the academy.

Mash is generally quiet and kind. However, if he sees someone hurting his family or friends, he gets incredibly angry. He is also extremely innocent and obedient, making people abuse those qualities, but thanks to his strength he can twist almost every situation. He also loves cream puffs a lot.

The "childhood friend" that Riri set up for Anzu. Anzu originally believed him to be a random hot guy brainwashed by Riri, but it is later revealed that he is in fact a childhood friend of Anzu.

He had picked up baseball and changed himself after overhearing Anzu say that she would like to date an "athletic guy who can beat the boss."

Anzu is aware of his feelings for her, and acts oblivious to hide it from him.

Itsuomi's cousin. He is a barista in a small bar.

Lycion is a member of Mithrun's squad of Canaries. He is an aloof, laid-back elf. Like many of the other Canaries, he has notches cut into his ears, a mark of being convicted of using black magic.

~!Lycion is able to turn into a canine beast and is comfortable even in partial transformation. He has extreme body dysmorphia and hates how his original elven body looked. Conversely, he loves and praises his beast-man form, and joined in illegal fighting tournaments in order to show it off. He views his monster body purely as a cosmetic change, and doesn't have any real interest in monsters or their natural habits.!~

Julius Euclius is Anastasia Hoshin's knight and a member of the Royal Guard. Julius lived with his family at the Euclius House. After his father, Klein Euclius died, he started to live with his uncle Alviero and he started to take care of Julius and became his adoptive father.

As a member of Lugnica's nobility, Julius acts in a proper fashion, always having an air of nobility and conviction. He is also considerate and doesn't forget to show care toward others. He also shows a strict side, giving out accurate assessments of others whether they're good or bad, which is a result of his upbringing as an elite, and in actuality, he believes that he and others can do better than they currently are.

Julius doesn't like those who forget their place, leading him to have bad relations with Subaru for a while. While both have apologized to each other after the battle with the Hakugei, Subaru told him he still hated him. Julius said he didn't intend to be friends. They both became very intimate very quickly during the planning and attacking the Witch Cult. In the end, Julius directly considered Subaru as his friend.
