A short, hairless (for most of the series) warrior monk, loyal Kuririn provides comic relief during tense moments. Like Chiaotzu, Kuririn doesn't have a nose. He is a good-natured, outgoing and competitive martial artist.  Once a fierce rival of Son Goku, he quickly became his best friend while training under Muten Roshi. He also is close to Goku's son, Gohan. <div rel="spoiler">He eventually marries Android 18 and settles down, having a daughter named Marron.</div>

Gaura is a defender of Protocol Omega, Protocol Omega 2.0 and Team A5. 

The leader of a mercenary group who fought Baki. He was once a reckless mercenary called Nomura who loved killing. However, after facing the "ultimate fear" when faced with a firing squad during the Ugandan Bush War, he lost his hair and the personality of Gaia manifested from Nomura, as well as gaining supersensory ability. It is said that Gaia is Yujiro's equal in combat. However, when it comes to jungle warfare, he is considered to be the king and he is often called as "Mr.War" and "War god". As a evidence of his ability, he and his mercenary team was hired by the JGSDF as a instructor for non-conventional warfare, and they defeated an entire company of soldiers including a Type 90 Tank in a training battle with ease. As Nomura he is best described as a weakling who acts as a medic for the team. However, when the situation is right and his adrenaline starts pumping, the Gaia personality will manifest itself to fight. He utterly despises Yujiro, stating he is nothing but a thrill seeker that fights for pleasure. He fights Baki and honorably loses to him. When he crossed paths with Yujiro, Gaia told him that Baki is a better warrior than Yujiro can ever be before the two fight (even though he loses miserably). Gaia makes a surprising appearance in the 'Search of Our Strongest Hero' manga by replacing Jack Hammer during his fight with the Russian convict Sikorsky. He proceeds to defeat Sikorsky with ease, and terrorises Sikorsky into admitting defeat. His three philosophies when fighting are one, take care of your body and give it rest; two, free your body from the control of your mind; and finally, use every part of your surroundings as a weapon. In the current series, he no longer works for the JGSDF, and is seen working as a bodyguard for the new American president.

The older brother of Shinogi, he is very narcissistic and trains to develop the perfect body. He is also a surgical genius able to do surgeries that normally take several hours in only 30 minutes, though he does not have a license. He fights Baki Hanma and is destroyed in combat by him after Baki meets the people that got screwed over by him. Ironically, he is saved by one of his victims when he needed a blood transfusion after his match with Baki. In the tournament, he fights his younger brother Shinogi and though he destroys Shinogi he decides to give up to let his younger brother continue in the tournament. During that match, despite losing his eyesight when Shiogi severed two of his cords, he surgically fixed his nerves during his fight. He serves as tournament medic as the matches go on and tried to stop Jack Hammer from using any steroids only to be beaten by him. Later, he helps Jack Hammer develop new ways of getting stronger without the use of steroids.    (wikipedia)
