Gabi Braun is an Eldian living in the Liberio internment zone and the cousin of [Reiner Braun](https://anilist.co/character/46484/Reiner-Braun). She is friends with her fellow warrior candidates [Udo](https://anilist.co/character/125663), [Zofia](https://anilist.co/character/125664/Zofia), and [Falco Grice](https://anilist.co/character/125660). 

Gabi is very passionate and head-strong, expressing her emotions and opinions without inhibition. She is also brave, possessing boundless determination, and willing to put her life on the line to complete a goal for a perceived greater good. However, these attributes can also make her somewhat overbearing and domineering. This causes her to be tactless at times, forcing her opinions on others and taking charge regardless of whether it was asked for or not. She mostly shows this side around her fellow Warrior candidates, considering herself their de facto leader to an extent, and even threatening to 'punish' them when they disagree with her. Nonetheless, she is friendly enough that they have no issue with spending their leisure time with her. Aside from her resolve and determination, Gabi is care-free even on the battlefield, making remarks about her cuteness and claiming her commander loves her too much to sacrifice her.

When asked to do an important task, she stutters and panics, which only adds to her natural clumsiness. She owns a pair of glasses that do nothing to improve her clumsiness. However, she refuses to purchase a new pair as they are the first thing Ciel bought for her. It's implied that she has a crush on Sebastian as she is even clumsier when Sebastian is watching. Her glasses cover up her eyes and her maid outfit doesn't show the fact that Mey-Rin is actually quite pretty.   ~!In episode 21 of the anime, it was indicated that Mey-Rin was previously an assassin before Sebastian took her in as the maid of Phantomhive household. She used to be a sniper who did not use a scope, due to her sharp far-sighted vision caused by her ill-fitting glasses. Shion is Mion's identical twin sister, who currently resides in Okinomiya. In spite of their different personalities, she and Mion often switch places, and it can be difficult to distinguish between them. 

~!Their first switch took place when they were little. Right before tattooing the symbol of an oni, which is reserved for the older sister, she was mistakenly identified as Shion, the younger sister, which means that she was actually born as Mion Sonozaki, the older sister. Since then, she switched her identity of Mion with Shion, the younger sister. !~  

She was sent by the Sonozaki family to a private boarding school, but escaped and returned to live near her hometown, where she lives with Kasai. Mion is the oldest kid in Keiichi's class. As the elder, she is the class president and everyone looks up to her as the leader. She acts like a perverted tomboy and calls herself old man, but has a hidden girlish side. Mion is next in line to be the head of the Sonozaki household, one of the Three Families which holds tremendous influence in Hinamizawa. Often when playing games with her fellow club members she is known for her ruthlessness, often coming up with the most embarrassing penalties for the losers.  Mion also serves as the leader of the main characters' gaming club.

She runs a bakery at her home, which Reiko and Koguma often visit.
