Hideyoshi is a normal human and the best friend of Ken Kaneki. Hide is incredibly observant and can figure things out about people in a almost sherlock-like manner. He also becomes interested in things and works hard on them until he finds something else to interest him.

He is one of the students and Nagisa's close friends. He used to be a basketball player in their school's basketball club until he was assigned into class 3-E, making him kicked out from the club. He dreams to become a professional baseball player like his idol, Arita, and emulates his techniques to improve his own performance in baseball and is shown to very dedicated to it. He also sometimes used his baseball techniques in his attempts to kill Korosensei. He has a crush on Yukiko.

Tamagawa Yoshio is a tennis player from Rikkai Dai Fuzoku Chuu. He is introduced to Kirihara by Yukimura. Kirihara believed Tamagawa would replace him as the captain of the tennis club.

Yuuichirou is a member of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army and Shinoa Hiragi's squad in the Moon Demon Company. He, along with Mikaela Hyakuya, possesses the "Seraph" gene, which is relevant to the forbidden taboo and the focal point of the story, "Seraph of the End".

Yuuichirou seems to be an excellent swordsman, as he was trained by Guren himself. He is also a "seraph of the end" with 1/10th of him being not human; he may have been experimented on by the Hyakuya, but this is unclear since the adults in charge of him were killed minutes after he arrived at the orphanage.

While wandering about as a spirit, Yukine was picked up by Yato and made into a Shinki. When called "Sekki" he transforms into a katana.

~!He died at a young age, making him miss his normal life as a middle schooler. He acts like his age, and was once stealing money from people with the excuse that it's okay since he's dead. After being "saved" by Hiyori, he becomes more obedient and respects Yato and Hiyori. When he was alive he had trouble with his father as seen by Yato when he first obtains Yukine.!~

In a katana form, he finds Yato's sweaty hands so disgusting that he calls him "Drippy."

Kota Mizuhara is a second year student at Tokise High School and a member of the Tokise High School Koto Club.

A 19-year-old man who grew up in a rural seaside town. He has been interested in machines since childhood, and has produced his own machines by hand. Though he is a genius mechanic, he has little interest in social interaction, considering machines as closer friends than other people. He often loses all track of time and surroundings once he starts tinkering, but abruptly falls asleep as if running out of batteries when he gets tired, which causes no end of consternation to Kosame. He has an idealistic dreamer side, having treasured a story about travel to the moon since childhood.

Jirou Yakuin is the main protagonist, being an antisocial, pessimistic high school boy. Iskahn was a supporting character in the second half of the Alicization Arc, War of the Underworld. He was the Tenth Champion and leader of the Pugilists Guild, as well as a member of the Ten Lords Assembly that controlled the Dark Territory. Iskahn was one of the leaders of the Dark Territory who participated in the battle at the Great Eastern Gate against the Human Guardian Army, commanding the unit of Pugilists. During the battle, Iskahn and his Pugilists were ordered to pursue the decoy unit of the Human Guardian Army when they escaped southwards into the Dark Territory, where Iskahn dueled against [Scheta Synthesis Twelve](https://anilist.co/character/171679/Scheta) and became interested in her.
~!However, when [Emperor Vecta](https://anilist.co/character/155210/Gabriel-Miller) ordered his Pugilists on a suicide mission and apathetically left them to their doom as tens of thousands of American players descended on the battlefield and began slaughtering his people, Iskahn decided to use the loopholes in the Emperor's orders to form an alliance with the decoy unit of the Human Empire Army. As the majority of the Human Guardian Army proceeded further south in pursuit of Vecta, Iskahn and his forces remained on the battlefield with Scheta to continue repelling the American player army. Iskahn was one of the members of the Dark Territory Army who survived the war, in the aftermath of which he became the supreme commander of the Dark Territory Army. As a result in the process, he lost his right eye by forcefully tearing it out. This was due because Iskahn was truly disgusted by Vecta’s empathy towards people and deliberately did so in order to oppose his unjust order!~

A third-year who is currently the captain of the Seigaku tennis team. He is known to be a National-level player and has been noted by many characters in the series to be one of the toughest opponents in their era.

Kenshin Himura, also known throughout the anime as Hitokiri Battousai (Battousai the Manslayer) or Himura the Battousai, is the main character of the series Rurouni Kenshin. His original name was Shinta (心太). 

His parents died of cholera when he was very young and as a result, was adopted by three slave women in a traveling slave wagon. Soon after meeting them, bandits had raided the convoy and killed his three new guardians and where about to kill him when Seijuro Hiko killed the bandits. Hiko soon adopted the child and because Shinta was not a name fitted for a swordman, he renamed him Kenshin, meaning "Heart of Sword," took him under his wing and taught him the Hiten Mitsuruugi Ryu.   

~! However, before full completion of the sword style could be passed on to Kenshin, the Japanese Revolution had been happening at the time and right before Kenshin's eyes.  Because of his kind nature and seeing people suffering, he knew he needed to do something about it.  He left in the middle of his training and without his master's blessing and joined the Imperialists.  It was during the Revolution where Kenshin met Tomoe, his first love and wife. During the revolution, Kenshin was given the nickname of Hitokiri Battousai because of his god-like speed of drawing a sword to kill the enemy instantly. After helping the Imperialist to a position where they would undoubtedly win the revolution, Kenshin left the revolution all-together with a vow to never kill again and the reverse-blade sword handed to him by Shakku-dono. It was Tomoe's death by his hands that pushed him over the edge of never to kill again.!~

The next time we see Kenshin is 10 years later as he has become a wanderer who helps out anyone in need who is suffering right before his eyes. Those long 10 years have taken him from Kyoto, all over Japan to where we find him in episode one of the anime, in Tokyo, still keeping his vow never to kill again. It is here where he meets Kaoru Kamiya and his whole life begins to change once again.

Kenshin is usually depicted as a care-free swordsman who is very aloof and tends to be a bit simple-minded when it comes to living normally. He is seen to be doing many of the chores around the dojo that he stays at with Kaoru, (i.e., cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.). He believes it is his way of repaying Kaoru with allowing him to stay at her dojo. (although it seems he has gotten attracted to kaoru in the end). However, his swordsmanship ranks among the elite as he is seen defeating every rival (with the exception of Hajime Saitou which ended in a draw). His battle senses are top-notch and he recognizes even the slightest of advantages, strategies and tactics during a sword battle.
