Nelson Thorndyke is Christopher Thorndyke's father.

A young orphan, it was the death of his parents during a Gamilus planet bomb attack on the Miura Peninsula that drove him to follow in his older brother Mamoru's footsteps and join the Earth Defence Force. He is initially hot-headed and prone to bursts of anger, and at first blames Captain Okita for the death of his brother in battle. However, he matures during the first season thanks to his responsibility as the Yamato 's battle chief, and ultimately Okita nominates him acting captain when he is unable to continue. Though apparently never formally promoted to captain, Kodai continues commanding the Yamato and its crew for most of the rest of the franchise, only relinquishing command twice: to Yamanami in Be Forever Yamato, and to a revived Okita during Final Yamato. He is also a talented pilot, flying his own Cosmo Zero fighter as the leader of the Black Tigers, and in the second season frequently joining the Cosmo Tigers in battle. The younger brother of Kureha, he fights using a technique called cord cutting which involves cutting your opponents nerves so they can&#039;t move. He does this because he was over shadowed by his older brother, Kureha, who always came to his rescue when they were children. Shinogi fought Baki in season 1 and was knocked out. In the Maximum Tournament, he fights his brother in round 1 who gives up after seeing Shinogi&#039;s resilience. Zeru is the &quot;Captain&quot; Of Jolly Devil Six. His power is based around fire (火炎術), his only attacks he uses are Fire Aura, and a fire blast attack. He seemingly punches Hiei through the stomach, then shoots a fire blast at him, yet again seemingly killing him. Then Hiei appears behind Zeru, stunning him as he doesn&#039;t realize that a fire-based attack won&#039;t work on other fire demons. Thus he is killed by the infamous Black Dragon Hell Fire (Jao Ensatsu Koku Ryu Ha) (referred to as Dragon of the Darkness Flame in the English version). Upper C class demon.

Itsuki is Sensui&#039;s right hand man in carrying out Sensui&#039;s evil plan. Although he has strong psychic abilities, he needs another ability which can tear dimensions. That&#039;s where Kuwabara&#039;s part comes in. As he is the only one in Ningenki who can do something like that.    As for the way Sensui and Itsuki met, it was that as a youkai Itsuki tried to fight and beat Sensui. But he was unsuccessful, and was at Sensui&#039;s mercy because it so happened that he was a demon target of Sensui&#039;s. Before Sensui would kill him he was given one wish. And Itsuki wished to live one more day so he could watch the last episode of his favorite TV show... which just happened to be Sensui&#039;s too. After that, the two became close companions. The dishonorable leader of the Shadow Channelers (Team Masho), he cheats to advance his team in the tournament and isn&#039;t above attacking his own teammates if they disagree with him. His attacks are based around earth, Armor of Clay (a defense and offense raise), and Spiked Armor of Clay (another boost), as well as a general control of the earth around him. He loses to a badly injured Kuwabara when Yukina arrives, motivating Kuwabara to unleash his spirit energy. Upper C class demon.

Suzuki, Suzuka in the English version, is a member of the Fractured Fairy Tales. In the past he was known as Tanaka the Powerful Warrior, and one day lost miserably against Younger Toguro. Suzuki is, at first, very selfish and seems to care only about himself, as shown by how he thought he was extremely beautiful and everyone else was ugly. He even went so far as to kill several people in the audience at the Dark Tournament for refusing to worship him. It is later found out that he does care for others, and he was kind enough to help Kazuma Kuwabara and Kurama during the Finals Rounds of the Dark Tournament. He is also extremely intelligent, having knowledge of many moves and abilities. Suzuki is also regularly seen dressed up as a clown. In the anime, as a clown his hair is blond, but when not dressed up as a clown it is more along the lines of brown with some minor green shading in it. Suzuki is a master of disguise, and is also extremely skilled at creating weapons for the advantage of others. Suzuki&#039;s main abilities are based around manipulating his spirit energy into powerful blasts.

Kirishima (Miyamoto in the English anime), Okubo, and Sawamura (Komada in the English anime) are Kazuma Kuwabara's lackeys. Okubo's mother, often ill, does not bring enough money into her household, so Okubo holds a job in order to support the household. They also appear in the Chapter Black Saga where they attend the Megallica concert with Kuwabara. On their way home they are attacked by Kiyoshi Mitarai aka Seaman and nearly drown in one of Seaman's water-based monsters, but are saved by Kuwabara. Afterwards Kuwabara carries the three on his back along with Mitarai to Yusuke Urameshi's apartment before passing out. After Kirishima, Okubo, and Sawamura tell Kurama about what happened, Kurama erased their memories of this event so they would not be burdened with it and sent them home. In the first character popularity poll, Kirishima ranked 9th place with 219 votes.

Slapper is one of the Predacon foot soldiers under Sky-Byte's command and, although its not saying much, is probably the most competent of the Predacon Trio. Slapper seems to be portrayed as Skybytes right hand man. In beast mode, Slapper can leap remarkable distances in a single bound. He can use his long tongue like a whip, dexterously wrapping it around his enemies' weapons to snatch them away. In robot mode, the tongue detaches to be wielded as a weapon. He also has a camouflaged extendible grabber claw which can tear through the hull of a battleship. Slapper has also proven himself to be a supremely competent hacker, able to infiltrate even heavily protected systems. Slapper has a tendency to speak his mind without thinking, often earning his superiors' disapproval. Slapper does tend to be gullible, as he believed Sideburn when he tells him, the he was once a tricycle that fell for a red tricycle. Transforms into a frog.
