Kurama is first encountered in the series at the same time as Hiei. His ability is in manipulating plants, and he generally wields a whip created from a rose vine, complete with thorns. He is one of the wiser characters in the series and the smartest and calmest of the four main characters.

Kurama is generally regarded as the most calm and level-headed member of the group. His analytical nature is present in battle where he prefers to study the strengths and weaknesses of his opponents before devising a strategy of his own.  He is protective of those he cares about and is often merciless to anyone that poses them a threat, a shift in his usually friendly manner. In many instances, Kurama has shown to be very self-sacrificing in the interests of the safety of his friends and family.  

Fox Demon Kurama/Youko Kurama was a cold hearted and ruthless thief and the most feared bandit in Makai. He was considered to be an A-class demon (though he eventually surpasses that), and is said to be more than a thousand years old. After being wounded by a bounty hunter while in his spirit fox form, Kurama sent his spirit into the Ningenkai (human world) where his spirit took refuge within an unborn child that had not yet gained a soul. It was from this point that Kurama made the transfer to a human body with the intention to recover his strength as the child developed. Kurama planned to leave Ningenkai to return to Makai after regaining his strength after an estimated ten years. However, sometime during or before the tenth year, an act of selflessness by his mother, Minamino Shiori, opened Kurama's eyes to pain he had caused his mother while growing up. Thus, he decides to continue living his human life as Shiori's son.

Kurama's special ability is that he can turn plants into deadly weapons by manipulating his youki into that plant. Kurama has complete control over any Human Realm plant and has some control over Demon Realm plants. However Demon Fox Kurama has complete control over Demon Realm Plants and has more power than regular Kurama. The strength of Kurama's moves depends on how much aura Kurama uses. He has an incredible sense of smell and he can read lips. Though Kurama is considered the second weakest of the four main fighters, topping out at low S-class power by the end of the series, he is easily the smartest fighter of the four. He relies on cunning and tactics and not necessarily power to win battles.

Phinks is a genius when it comes to unarmed combat. Phinks uses his hands in battle, which have been shown to be extremely powerful. He is rather brash and has a tendency to get into conflicts with other people. Phinks is one of the members of the Phantom Troupe that originated from Meteor City. He first appears in Egyptian Suit but later changed into jogging suit. He seems to get along with Feitan. Phinks also displays a level of compassion for Zazan's minions after they are released from her control. When they beg him to kill them he refuses to simply execute them on their knees, instead urging them to fight back and die in battle honorably.

Ripper Cyclotron: Phinks's nen ability involves how many times he rotates his arm. The more rotations that he does with the arm, the stronger his blow will become.

Akoya Seishu is a police inspector and the captain of the 44th Riot Squad. He is also a secret vigilante that ruthlessly carries out his brand of justice. He is also the affiliated fighter of Wakasa Life Insurance in the Kengan Matches and represented the company during the Kengan Annihilation Tournament. Two years later, he was scouted for the Kengan Association VS Purgatory Tournament as a representative for the Kengan Association.

Akoya is a man who is driven almost entirely by his intense brand of justice. He thoroughly judges evil: no matter how seemingly insignificant the crime, even in hindsight, Akoya executes those he deems guilty without mercy. Because of how mercilessly ruthless and indiscriminate he is when executing his justice, he takes it upon <a href="https://anilist.co/character/192332/Shunka-Hiyama">Hiyama Shunka</a> to somewhat curb his tendencies by directing his actions. <a href="https://anilist.co/character/143860/Adam-Dudley">Adam Dudley</a> likened his vigilantism to Dirty Harry syndrome.

Galand is a demon who is a member of the Ten Commandments, a group of elite warriors of the Demon Clan handpicked by the Demon King himself. He was sealed away along with the rest of the clan in the Coffin of Eternal Darkness until he was set free by Hendrickson.


Shidoh is a Shinigami whose Death Note is stolen by Ryuk. In fact, Ryuk takes his Note and gives it to Light, which becomes Higuchi's note and is finally passed on to Mello's gang (more specifically, Mello's subordinate, Kal Snyder (also known as Jack Neylon)). Shidoh has a great liking for chocolate. Since Shidoh has neglected to kill people and extend his own lifetime, he probably did not notice that his Note is stolen. As the end of his lifetime approaches, Shidoh finds Ryuk and learns that Mello is in possession of his Note. Later, he finds Snyder in the human world. To regain his Note, Shidoh agrees to help Mello's gang against the SPK and Light. After Light regains the Death Note from Mello, he returns the note to Shidoh for him to stop interfering and return to the Shinigami world. Although these events occurred over the course of about one volume in the manga, Shidoh was only in two episodes in the anime version (episode 28 where he was merely introduced in the last few minutes of the episode, and episode 29, which relays most events of Shidoh's regaining of his Death Note). Quirk: Lock Down:/Ken can immobilize anything not living, locking it into a particular place. However, it can be overwhelmed by force and cannot apply to large areas.

Ken is a man of average height, with a darker complexion and dark, curly hair. He has pierced ears with padlocks in them. Notably, his fingertips have protrusions that resemble key teeth.
Part of his hero costume is a small white mask that covers his eyes. He wears a necklace around his neck with five keys dangling from it. Rock Lock wears a two-colored, short-sleeved shirt with a black section and a white print on it, resembling a keyhole. Franky is a cyborg who is the shipwright of the Straw Hat Pirates. He first appeared in the Water 7 arc. Franky is one of "Tom's Workers". Franky usually acts tough and is quickly angered, but he is also very emotional when it comes to sad tales and often bursts into large tears, or on some occasions, plays a song. He can also create flame tracker that detects a person’s energy.

Avdol presents himself as a serious person but can sometimes let his emotions get the best of him. He often acts as the voice of reason among the Joestar group and exhibits strong loyalty by frequently placing himself in danger to protect his friends. He is knowledgeable about geography and stands, enjoys India’s chaotic atmosphere, and respects Polnareff’s chivalrous attitude that he displayed when they first met. Avdol gives Jotaro’s stand its name.

Masayoshi Komi is Shouko's and Shousuke's father. He is seen as a dandy middle-aged man. Masayoshi rarely speaks and sometimes struggles to express himself verbally and can, at times, be easily flustered.

Complementary to his wife's youthful attitude, Masayoshi often appears mature and stoic. While he may come across as stern, he is often shown to be kind, considerate, and supportive.

Like his son, Masayoshi tends to make up for his lack of communication with strong actions and is generally talented in a variety of skills, including baking, woodworking, motorcycle riding, and sandcastle construction. Despite his stoic expression, he is adept at non-verbal communication and often holds silent conversations with his children, much to Shuuko's amusement.
