Luna was a talking cat and advisor to [Usagi Tsukino.](https://anilist.co/character/2030/Usagi-Tsukino) It was she who first detected Usagi's power, but at the time did not realize that she was the Moon Princess. Luna and her partner [Artemis](https://anilist.co/character/5408/Artemis) were advisors to [Queen Serenity](https://anilist.co/character/17010/Queen-Serenity) in the Silver Millennium, and when the kingdom was ruined Serenity used the power of her Silver Crystal to send the two cats to Earth's future in order to awaken the Sailor Senshi. 

She and Artemis one day married and had a daughter named [Diana](https://anilist.co/character/11899/Diana) who became the advisor to [Chibiusa.](https://anilist.co/character/2827/Chibiusa) Chibiusa's toy Luna P was also modelled on Luna.

In **Yes! Precure 5**, Mayu appears when she and [Kanako Miyamoto](https://anilist.co/character/235272/) find a student's lost shoe in a school's garden and then go to the student council's president Minazuki Karen to report this.

In **Heartcatch Precure!**, Mayu with [Aya Ikeda](https://anilist.co/character/237827/Aya-Ikeda) are the vocalists of the school's light music, who struggle from severe stage fright.

Muriel Besson is a young French student with a keen interest in the Japanese culture. Her brother, Frank Besson, is the boss of a Milieu, who spoils her very much.

During Masamune's trip to France, she uses him as her model of her hero, and Aki as the heroine.  

Muriel has medium length blonde hair that is usually tied up, and blue eyes. Her right eye is usually covered with a black eye patch, with a white rose symbol on the patch. She has a black tattoo on the upper left side of her back.
