The Landlord (a.k.a. Lalo) (Ōya), born 1970) and is a bald, blue-skinned creature with a head shaped like a daikon radish. He is Milk's landlord. As Milk is perpetually over six months behind on her rent, he continually tries to get payment from her. However, whenever he tries to get the rent, she does or says something that shocks or tricks him, causing him to run back across the ladder to his own home. He is also anxious, as he once thought he lost his &quot;purse,&quot; but shortly finds it after making a racket over it. The landlord has admitted to being a homosexual in the Japanese version of episode 9, &quot;Financial Decay Peninsula&quot;. His homosexuality is openly referred to in more than one episode.

Takumi Fujiwara is the son of Bunta Fujiwara, the owner of a tofu shop in his hometown Akina. He rarely shows emotion. His best friend is Itsuki Takeuchi, who is a racing fan.  Takumi works part-time at a gas station with Itsuki, along with Iketani, who is a member of the local racing team, the Akina Speed Stars. 

Takumi has been manipulated subtly by Bunta into developing driving skills, without being fully aware of Bunta's intent. Bunta aside, Takumi's driving technique is the best on Akina; the very fact that he has managed to win races against far more powerful cars with his AE86 Trueno is testament to his driving skills. As a result of constant everyday practice and over 5 years of experience on Akina, Takumi is able to adapt to nearly any situation that presents itself during a race with astonishing speed. One factor in his nearly unparalleled driving skills is his ability to visualize the road in his head, thus making up for the lack of visibility no matter how dark the mountain pass may be. He is an instinctive rather than an intellectual driver. Although the mizutoshi technique is a great but difficult technique that his father taught him, it lead him to many victories through out the story.

Raidō Namiashi is a Tokubetsu Jōnin of Konohagakure.    Despite the handful of fights he has been in, Raidō has yet to be seen in extended combat. Given that he was a bodyguard for the Third Hokage, and that the Sound Four needed to activate their cursed seals in order to defeat him, it is likely that he is a formidable fighter. It was shown that when Hidan and Kakuzu attempted to kill Kotetsu and Izumo, Raidō successfully attacked and fended off Kakuzu with a unique sword called &quot;Ebony Blade&quot; (黒刀, Kokutō), which resembles a katana with a darkened, non-reflective surface.

Yugi Mutou is the main protagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. At the start of the series, he is a shy boy who is really short for his age, something he always gets teased about in school. For this reason, he was always alone. However, his grandfather gives him the Millennium Puzzle prior to the story's time line and Yugi is told that if he solved it, one wish of his could be granted. He manages to solve the Millennium Puzzle and he asks for friends and his wish is immediately granted. He also awakens the spirit residing in the Puzzle, but Yugi is not aware of this until much later in the story.  When Yugi does become aware, he and the spirit become very close, with him calling the spirit 'Mou Hitori No Boku' - The Other Me - and the spirit calling him 'Aibou' - Partner. Yugi then becomes a vessel for the spirit and he is told that his duty is to help the spirit find his lost memories. With the help of his friends, he helps the Pharaoh regain his memories while overcoming the most difficult of situations.  

Yugi is mostly seen living with his grandfather, since his parents are mostly on business trips. His mother, Ashita, makes a very brief appearance in the beginning of the second season, when Yugi argues with the spirit. Yugi is also very gifted as a duelist with the Duel Monsters card game, thanks to the expertise and upbringing of his grandfather.   Yugi's deck, throughout the series, was really his grandfather's, since his grandfather gave him his deck in episode 1 to battle Seto Kaiba. However, in the last season - Pharaoh's Memory - he uses his own deck, which contains magicians, spellcasters, and machines.  Yugi is also seen as a 'Ladies' Man' in the series, according to the KCGP filler. However, from the beginning, it has been obvious that he has a crush on Anzu Mazaki, his childhood friend.   

__Yu-Gi-Oh! GX__: Yugi Mutou makes several apperances in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. He is first seen as a grown adult in the first episode, whom Judai Yuki runs into on his way to the entrance exam at Duel Academy. Yugi then hands him Winged Kuriboh and walks away. There are also several mentions of him throughout the series. ~!In the final episodes, 179 - 180, he appears again to Judai Yuki, telling him that he has come to help Judai regain what he had lost in the last couple of years, which was the ability to have fun while having a duel. The older Yugi then helps Judai Yuki reach a time period in between Battle City and Doma Arc. A completely different Yugi runs into him and he is challenged to a duel, which he readily accepts. Yugi then notices Judai's strong magical powers as does the spirit, so he lets the spirit take over the duel.!~ 

__Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie - Bonds Beyond Time__: Yugi is one the main characters in this 10th Anniversary special of Yu-Gi-Oh! He, along with Judai Yuki of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX and Yusei Fudou of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, battle Paradox in order to save Duel Monsters and the existence of time itself. ~!In one of the 5D's openings, it is shown that Yugi had lost his grandfather's life during one of Paradox's assaults on his time frame and he is extremely distressed over the fact.!~

Yami no Yuugi is the spirit residing in the Milennium Puzzle. After a historic battle against Zorc Necrophadius, he had sealed his soul along with Zorc in order to save Egypt. However, he had lost his memory as a result.   3,000 (5,000 in the dub) years later, Yugi Mutou, after trying to solve the puzzle for eight years, awakens Yami no Yuugi from his slumber, although Yugi does not realize this until much later in the story, more specifically, Duelist Kingdom.  At the end of Duelist Kingdom, he asks Yugi to help him recover his memories and Yugi agrees to help him.

While he is a major driving force throughout much of the story, he is usually only the catalyst, allowing others to do the work for him. Purio is a bratty, arrogant eight-year old Mamodo child. Of the Mamodo taking part in the Battle to Determine King of Mamodo World, his appearance is the most royal of all children: dressed in a princely pinstripe outfit of blue and white with a crown on top of his combed blond hair. Purio admits that he is a weakling and that his spells may not be strong enough on their own to win the king tournament. Thus, he decides to be a front for various other Mamodo he teams up with, speaking on their behalf and trying to use his egotistical, me-first personality to show a strong front compared to his weakness. 

Purio easily becomes jealous at things other people have and usually tries to take them for himself while taking advantage of the motherly nature of his bookkeeper to do so. (even to the extent of growing a beard similar to the bookkeeper of one of his former allies) However, he does care about his bookkeeper Lupa and will do anything to help her, even with her smothering, caring love.

He is the only male descendant left from the ancient Western Chinese desert kingdom of Loulan (Rouran) who are able to fight.
