Yamashita is the only first-year member of the photography club, and Tada and Ijuin are his upperclassmen. He's an androgynous pretty boy with a tall, slim frame and fluffy hair which he always clips back. He went to the same middle school as Tada, so they have had a lower/upperclassman relationship for a while. He has a deep respect for Tada to the point he seems like a loyal puppy. Therefore the other group members have given him the nickname 'Yamashita-Ken,' with 'Ken' being written with the character for 'dog.' He loves animals, but unfortunately, they don't seem to love him back. Of course Nyanko Big doesn't like him either.

Brother of Souichirou Tachibana and Otomi Tachibana. Studies at Meisei middle school and is in the baseball club. Plays as third baseman although he is a better pitcher than the current ace.

Tsutomu Goshiki is a first year wing spiker in Shiratorizawa Academy. Goshiki appears to have been a capable volleyball player even before entering Shiratorizawa Academy. In one of his recollections, he is seen being praised by an elderly lady while showing off a volleyball related trophy. He is also frequently acknowledged for his height and reliability as an ace.

The series' main protagonist. Second year student of Seitetsu Gakuin High-school. He is chosen as a Blue Kämpfer by Moderator and setup as a Zauber type with power based on fire. In keeping with the rule that all Kämpfers are females, he turns into girl upon transformation. After a fight with Shizuku exposed his Kämpfer form to other students of the school, Shizuku arranged to have him enrolled in girl's class to fulfil public curiosity in a way that diverts attentions away from Kämpfer battle. His Kämpfer form has subsequently been ranked among the Three Beauties of Seitetsu (there used to be only two) and, much to Natsuru's own dismay, become subject of intense affections from Kaede Sakura (whom he has a crush on).

Eiichi is Karen's classmate who joins the Game Club at the beginning of the series. He has short black hair. His specialty is in arcade puzzle games, but he also is able to adapt to learning new games and growing skills based on observing how others play. He says that he got into gaming because he had lost his memory when he was younger and playing block puzzles gives him a link to his past. ~!The last episode in the anime series shows his secretive past in which he had escaped some underground organizations, and then encounters his estranged sister Riki in the finals of a game tournament.!~

Throughout the series, Langa wears the average high school uniform of black pants, a yellow jacket, and a white button-down shirt. Jirou joins the friend group when it is discovered he is tagging along after Masahiro without him knowing. He hangs out with the group of friends and comes for dinner served at the Ohshiba home often.

Later, he is the last student at school while Masahiro and Kousuke are together and think they are alone. He believes the two are fighting and hides in a broom closet, only to see them kiss. This results in Jirou revealing their secret love affair to the other guys, and drama ensuing between Masahiro and Fukushige.
