Ryuuya&#039;s father and head of the Fuga clan, a clan of wind magic users who had been forced to serve the Kannagi family as scouts of low-rank for 300 years. Angry at the way the Kannagis and their branch families had been treating the Fuga clan for centuries, Hyoue came up with a plan to wipe out the Kannagi&#039; by resurrecting the Fuga clan&#039;s patron god, a powerful wind demon. Beckmann is a tall man, standing at a height of 206 cm. His hair was jet black and pulled back in a pony tail 12 years ago in Monkey D. Luffy's hometown; in the current storyline, his hair has turned gray and is cut short. He is never seen without his rifle nearby or a cigarette in his mouth. He also now has a large, X-shaped scar on his left temple.

His outfit has changed very little over the years since his first appearance; he now wears a black, v-neck shirt with three quarter sleeves (whereas he is previously seen wearing a short-sleeved shirt of a similar color and design) along with loose pants (originally of a dark green color, but presently gray) with numerous pockets on them, tucked inside his buckled boots. Like most of the other Red Hair Pirates, he wears a sash around his waist, to which he attaches his rifle in a pistol-like fashion. The only thing added to his attire is his spiral-patterned cloak.

Beckmann has the highest IQ of anyone in the East Blue. Beckmann carries a flintlock rifle with him, but he has yet to fire it, instead using it as a club on Higuma's men and as a threat against Kizaru.

Gold Roger was the Pirate King, the strongest pirate alive, and owner of the legendary treasure known as One Piece. Born in Loguetown, Roger was famed as the man who did what no one thought possible — he conquered the Grand Line. Even before setting out, he was the only man who truly did not fear the dangers of the Grand Line and was even excited about venturing out there. Even with warnings about ships never returning from that ocean, he did not care; in fact, he even declared that was the reason for him going.  He was said to be completely fearless, and those who witnessed his execution even claim that he grinned just before his death. Many people who've met Monkey D. Luffy and knew Roger have commented that the two are very similar.

Laertes Montague is the ruthless, Machiavellian Duke of Neo Verona. During the premise of the show, he orders the massacre of the House of Capulet and seized control of Neo Verona, spreading lies about the corruption of the Capulets to justify himself without persecution. As the ruler of Neo Verona, he believes it is the right of the House of Montague to exploit and oppress the common people, since the noblemen are superior to them. He is Romeo's father but acts coldly towards his son, only using him as a pawn for political gain. He also seems to be among the few who know the secrets of the Escalus Tree, along with its caretaker Ophelia and a mysterious old man whom Romeo and Juliet found in the country.    Tybalt divulges the known origins of his father privately to Juliet. Montague was originally born into poverty. His mother was a prostitute and therefore abandoned by his father. On her deathbed, she confesses to her young son that his father was a Capulet and expressed wishes for him to live in nobility. Her death greatly sparks his unrelenting and ferocious grudge against the Capulet name and his ambitions for becoming Duke. Sometime afterwards, young Laertes caught the eye of the Montague family whom at the time was headed by a pederast lord, and he was adopted into the clan. In his older adolescence, he poisoned his benefactor's food and became head of the family. He then met Tybalt's mother (a Capulet woman who he later heard died during the massacre) at a ball and used her to learn more of the Capulets, specifically about the Great Tree Escalus. After impregnating Tybalt's mother, he then left her and married Portia.    When he learned of Romeo's love for Juliet, Montague attested that his son was tricked to turning against him. His son's continuous declarations for his feelings for Juliet angers him and he sent Romeo to the mines as punishment. With Mercutio's adoption, it's assumed that Montague has decided to disown his son, made evident with the &quot;accidental death&quot; of Titus.    In the final moments of his reign, he is cornered by Tybalt, Romeo, and Juliet's forces in his throne room. No longer surrounded by anyone loyal to him, he curses Escalus for Capulet's bane. After he listens to Juliet's offer to peacefully exile himself and forsake his status from Neo Verona, he relents, apparently ready to agree. Before he could voice his opinions deeper, Mercutio stabs his back and he collapses.
