Official manga prequel of 2023 Hideaki Anno's Tokusatsu movie Shin Kamen Rider focusing on the backstories of Ichiro (plus the whole Midorikawa family) and the Kaijins fighting the internal factions' struggle of Secret Organization S.H.O.C.K.E.R.

Fans the world over have long been enthralled by tales of Kamen Rider, the masked, motorcycle-riding superhero who protects the world from injustice. Kidnapped and experimented upon by the evil terrorist organization known as Shocker, Hongo Takeshi manages to escape their clutches and use his newfound strength to fight against their schemes. These are the first adventures in a legacy that spans dozens of television series and films, drawn and written by series creator and manga superstar Shotaro Ishinomori.

Somewhere in Tokyo, Shiba, an elderly policeman, is assigned to form a special unit together with a cutting-edge android, K. As the two attempt to put their differences aside, a much grander plot slowly unfolds, following their investigation into what seemed to be a string of unrelated murders.
