With the development of modern technology, people on Earth no longer worshiped the gods of weather. Because of this, Yushi the Rain God’s power started to wane. He decides to venture to Earth under the name “Shi Yu." Shi Yu was soon scouted by an unscrupulous talent manager and joins his nearly-bankrupt entertainment company as a new trainee. Shi Yu is then sent to participate in the talent show “I am an Idol”.
 
With absolutely zero common sense and desperate to gain followers, he causes all sorts of chaos on the show.
