Zafila is dark skinned, only male, member of Wolkenritter, Guardians of the Book of Darkness. He is, like Arf, able to transform into a wolf, and he was called Familiar many times, although he negates it, saying that he is "Guardian Wolf" of his master. When not battling, Zafila is almost always in his wolf form, because his ears and tail stays visible while in human form.  Zafila is original counter part of Arf, Fate's familiar. Later, Arf teaches him how to change to "Puppy form".

After the events of the Lost Logia case, Nanoha waits patiently for the day she can reunite with her newfound friend, Fate. Although being an exceptionally powerful mage, Nanoha spends her days normally with her friends on Earth. But peace is once again suddenly shattered, as Nanoha is without warning attacked by a powerful mage. A group of violent mages have been attacking anything with magic power for their own goals. Nanoha and Fate, along with their friends Yuuno, Arf, Chrono and the Space/Time Administration Bureau must once more band together to stop these renegade mages from hurting anyone or anything else. Takes place after the first season of Lyrical Nanoha.

A manga adaptation of a thirteen episode sequel to Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, a magical girl alternate universe spinoff of the Triangle Heart series of games and OAVs.

The story appears to be centered on the investigation of the Book of the Silver Cross, an ancient Belkan magical tome. Tohma Avenir, whilst traveling, discovers a girl named Lily Strosek trapped inside a construct. When rescuing her, she gives Tohma an amulet that gives him access to a new Device power. However, unbeknown to them, there is another with a similar Device causing massive damage and injury, leading to an investigation by the Time Space Administration Bureau.

The series takes place four years after the events of Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, during which Nanoha Takamachi rescued and adopted a young girl named Vivio, who is the reincarnation of the Sankt Kaiser, Olivie Segbrecht. After entering her fourth year of elementary school, Vivio is given her own intelligence device, Sacred Heart, and gains the power to transform using her adult Sankt Kaiser mode. She soon comes across a girl named Einhart Stratos who, similar to Vivio, is the descendant of another Sankt Kaiser ruler, Claus G.S. Ingvalt. As Einhart becomes determined to prove her fighting style is the strongest, Vivio befriends her and, together with her friends, enters a martial arts tournament where they fight against various opponents and learn more about their past lives.

Then a mysterious magical fighter appears and targets Vivio.

A pair of researchers remain on their dying planet of Eltria with their two daughters, Amitie and Kirie, in hopes of finding a way to revive the planet, but it was no use. Against her older sister's wishes, Kirie sets off with her childhood friend Iris to seek help from a distant alternate world. They arrive in Japan on Earth to search for the key to their planet's regeneration.

This episode is the continuation of the Iryou Shoujo Medical Shamal picture drama episode that was included on the Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha: The Movie 2nd A's BD release.
