She is a young cardfighter with fantastic talent in Vanguard despite being blind from birth. As the leader of Team Daybreak, she is as popular as an idol. She is the current heir of the Minae family.

~!She is also the estranged sister of Danji Momoyama. However, she was unaware he is her brother, being made to believe he died by the rest of her family until Danji accidentally revealed himself to her.!~

Yu-yu is a boy living in Kanazawa, Kaga Province. He is 15 years old and in his third year of junior high school. He has the ability to sense the feeling of others, but he is troubled by the fact that he cannot say no when asked. One day, Yu-yu could no longer stand going along with his sister's hobby, so he ran away from home. The one who saves him is Megumi Okura. Megumi invites Yu-yu to a nighttime amusement park called "Wonder Hill" where her friends hang out. 
At the amusement park, Yu-yu meets Megumi, Zakusa Ishikame, and Tomari Seto, members of "Team Blackout," a group that meets to play Vanguard every night.
 
Tonight, a serious fight for the team's flag will take place. Blackout's leader, Danji Momoyama, and the mysterious and powerful fighter, Tohya Ebata. As Yu-yu stares at them, the card fight is soon eroded into a world of images. A voice actor and the current bassist in the band [Roselia](https://anilist.co/staff/153170/Roselia) as Lisa Imai.

Yuki was born in Wakayama Prefecture and lives in Tokyo. Until middle school she was a junior model for the magazines JS Girls and Sugar Princess Room. She also appeared in different commercials and dramas when she was a child.

She wanted to become a voice actress after seeing Gintama before she entered high school. Yuki was awarded the grand prize together with Takao Kanon in the National Seiyuu Grand Prix held by the seiyuu unit Earth Star Dream in 2014, and as a result she became a member of the unit. She then debuted as a voice actress with the role of Kinako Tanaka in the Teekyuu franchise, as well as starred in the series' stage adaptation.

Yuki was a member of Earth Star Dream until graduating in December 2017, and not long after her graduation the unit got suspended as well. On May 13, 2018, Yuki was then announced as Endou Yurika's replacement as Roselia's bassist and Lisa Imai's voice actor due to Yurika's retirement from the entertainment industry.

After the conclusion of the Destined Showdown, Akina and the other Vanguard fighters are enjoying their peaceful days when a missive arrives. It is an invitation to "DELUXE", the tournament to determine the strongest Vanguard fighter!
 
The third iteration of the tournament is packed with must-see matchups produced by AI Gui, featuring the miraculous return of Michiru Hazama, and the legendary strongest fighter of Mythisch, Kagetsu Yakumo.
 
And in the midst of this tournament, Akina is faced with a question posed to him by Nao's mentor Kagetsu: "What is your reason for playing Vanguard?"
 
What is the meaning behind this question? And how will Akina respond?
