The school nurse. She is also the staff-advisor (sort of a "teacher overseer") of maken-ki. She was in the maken-ki of the school before it became an all girl's school. She has absurdly huge breasts, possibly the largest of the cast, which attracts the attention of all male students and the envy of girls around her.

Based on the manga series by Hiromitsu Takeda, this romantic comedy is about Takeru Ohyama, a typical perverted teenage boy. His new school doesn't require entrance exams, and it just turned co-ed! Unfortunately, his dreams of a happy high school life are dashed when he finds out the school is much more than it seems. All of the students wield a special item&mdash;a Maken&mdash;to unleash their magical abilities in duels! Can Takeru find a Maken that works for him? Even while trying to fit in at a new school and dealing with all kinds of girl problems?

OVA episodes bundled with the 8th and 11th volumes of the manga.

Each of the six volumes of the Maken-Ki! Blu-rays will carry a 10 minute long short anime "Doki Doki! Maken-ki! Himitsu no Kunren". Secret trainings with the main characters will be animated.

Takeru continues his education at Tenbi Academy as part of the newly formed Security Committee. As a team with the other members they battle unscrupulous individuals who use their Maken for evil purposes. In the meantime, his libido and the conflicting romantic interests of the girls surrounding him complicate matters considerably. 

Takeru Ooyama, a young normal yet perverted minded guy, got accepted and now goes to a school that, unknown to him, was where combat and magic is used. On the first day, he meets again after three years: Haruko Amaya, his childhood friend, Inaho Kushiya, a girl who says she's his fiance, and Kodama Himegami, a blonde who wants to kill him. Finding out that there are many girls there that just don't like him, he is told that everyone there uses a special magic ability while using an item or weapon called a Maken. Later, he finds that no Maken is acceptable for him and doesn't know what to do, since in this school the students get into duels that showcase their magic and combat power, to which he seemingly has none.

- Chapter count includes 15 extras, the side story "Maken-Ki! Kai!!", and one-shots "Kanojo wa Muma de Irregular", "Gakuen Dragon Slayer" and "Ezaki-senpai, Komarimasu".

Set years before the main story, this series follows Minori, Aki, and the other teachers during their days as students at Tenbi.
