Yui is a girl in Rito's class who seems a good deal more conservative than the others (except in the anime, where she's downright being portrayed as a school nazi, ruling the hallways with an iron fist), which is partially caused by her prettyboy brother and his habit of going out with different girls on a regular basis. She quickly comes at odds with Lala and her free-spirited personality, which she sees as a hindrance towards making the school a more peaceful and better place.

~!She admits to herself that she is in love with Rito in To LOVE-Ru Darkness.!~ 

 ~!Throughout the series, Yui's love intrest has developed. Originally thinking he was just a "Shameless," boy, she realized how she was wrong after seeing Rito's kindness around town. Later at a group picnic, Yui told Rito that she state that "I won't let you do shameless things with anyone else but me!!" However this was because she was under the influence of pollen that caused all the girl's to fall in love with Rito. Yui also made chocolate for Valentines Day, even though she claimed to him it was just "Giri (Obligatory) Chocolate," but really it was only for him.

In To LOVE-Ru Darkness, while Momo is trying to further her Harem Plan, in which Rito will marry all of the women who love him, she influences the weather when Rito and Yui are walking home so that they go to Rito's house for shelter. While there Yui starts to confess to Rito, stating how it is normal for boys to do "shameless things," and nearly comes close to kissing him, but she backed out. Yui announced her love for Rito, albeit only to herself, she finally came to terms with it.!~

Did Riko Yuuki’s life go to hell in a handbasket when a naked alien princess from the planet Deviluke suddenly appeared in his bathtub and he found himself betrothed into the universe’s most dysfunctional romantic relationship? No, but only because he never got a damned handbasket. Even if the luscious Princess Lala is finally starting to admit her real feelings for her earthling scum significant other, there are so many other things constantly going wrong that Riko’s doing well just to survive.

But when Momo decides she'd like to "supplement" Rito's relationship with LaLa with a little "sisterly love," you know LaLa's not going to waste any time splitting harems. Unfortunately, it's just about that point that Yami, the Golden Darkness, enters the scene with all the subtleness of a supernova, along with an army of possessed high school students! All of which is certain to make Rito's life suck more than a black hole at the family picnic. Unless, of course, a certain semi-demonic princess can apply a little of her Develukean Whoop Ass to exactly that portion of certain other heavenly bodies!

Lala invents a gizmo to make her bust bigger. However, this invention of hers accidentally turns Rito into a woman.

Feeling lonely because Rito is always spending time with Lala, Mikan storms out of the house. While Rito and Lala are out looking for her, a few flashbacks from the past showing Rito and Mikan as kids are shown. 
 
Episode 3: Welcome to the Southern Resort!! 
Haruna wins an island resort trip for ten females. Rito gets turned into a dog by one of Lala's inventions and somehow ends up on the island as well. 
 
Episode 4: Trouble Quest 
Rito and the girls become trapped inside an RPG game where the objective is to save Lala and defeat the evil witch Kyouko. 
 
Episode 5: Nana and Momo 
Lala's sisters cause mischief for Rito and his harem at a cherry blossom viewing. 
 
Episode 6: Draft, Metamorphose, Hand & Tail 
Yami and Yui confront with a senior, causing Yui to lose her panties; Mikan finds Peke taking snapshots of new clothing while shopping. Suddenly, a stranger steals her bag; As Rito tries to explore Lala's cleaned-up bedroom, he accidentally activates one of Lala's inventions, fusing his hand to Lala's tail.
